"Alright! That should do the trick!" It was training night as Chrom had sent you to Ferox to help with Basilio help his people train. Chrom didn't say anything, but it was Basilio who had ordered you over. He was a friend so why not as well help him out. Maybe he needed some tactician game plans finally!

Basilio came out from the darkness and when up too you with his usual smirk. "Nice work. That should get those lazy warriors working there arsses off."

"Glad I could help. I just needed to say the right words and they were training pretty well."

"What did you tell them?"

"If they didn't train then no food for the whole week."

Basilio busted out laughing. "I knew that would get them going! No man could ever survive without some meat on his bones!"

"Yep. Now I have to get going. I need to read some book before bed. I'm going back to Ylisse tomorrow."

The smile on his face suddenly disappeared. "Are you finally leaving?"

"Yes it's been two months since I've been here and Chrom will need me back soon. It's going to be Lucian's birthday soon and I don't wanna disappoint Chrom and Sumia."

"It's fine. I just can't wait for her to grow up! I wanna see how strong she can get from her future self!"

"Hmmm... maybe they'll have the same strength, or maybe one will be more powerful than the other.... or will that cause a rip in the time line?"

Basilio chuckled as he soon his head and patted you on the back. "You think too much (y/n). Come back soon."

"I will. I'm leaving before dawn comes up because then I'll need to help with the soldiers over in Ylisse early."

"I see. Then won't you give this big old man a hug?"

You smiled and hugged Basilio tightly too yourself. He held you tightly back and patted you back once you let go. "Take care of yourself out there."

"Will do. I'll come back in a month's time!" You called out and when back to your chambers.

Basilio smiled and looked up, seeing the night sky from the open area top. "I'll be waiting. When you come back I'm going to give you the best bear hug this man can give you."
