The smell of wet dog burned your eyes as tears started to come out. Keaton had made your morning worst by bringing you a stuffed chewed up animal as a morning greeting. You just knew it was Keaton because Kaden didn't like dirty things.

"Oh wow... it's a chewed up stuffed bunny this time... thankfully it wasn't a dead animal... this time." You said while picking up the chewed up bunny. The cotton inside was spilling out as it was missing a black button for an eye.

"What is that smell?!" Jakob said while coming by your side, and gasp in disgusted as he put his white cloth over your nose. "My lady I will get rid of it."

"Wait don't do that! Keaton will get hurt if I just threw out something he made for me!"

Jakob sighed as he couldn't stand the smell anymore and put his white cloth over his nose. "Lady (y/n), you are too nice at time... for a mutt who gives you this!"

"W-Well it's his way of say thank you Jakob. Maybe I'll go find him and tell him thank you."

"You go do that while my nose is cleaned from that smell!" He said as he slammed your bedroom door shut.

You sighed at Jakob grumpiness, he was never a morning person at all, even on his birthday. You knew where Keaton would be as you entered into his messy room. It didn't smell as bad as you thought with all the dirt and bugs inside of bars.

"Keaton? Are you in here?"

His tail suddenly perked up in happiness as he was looking around in his pile of treasure. "(y/n) your here!"

He poked his head out and climbed skillfully over his treasure and hugged you, his tail wagging faster and faster. "Did you like my present for you?"

"W-Well... yes! Yes I did!"

"Yay!" He took the bunny from your hand and held it up. "I found it lying in the middle of a road. I thought of you and picked it up because it looks cute and so do you!"

You blushed and hide your face behind your hair. "Y-you do?"

Keaton stopped wagging his tail, a huge blush coming into his cheek. "M-maybe! I didn't say anything about that!"

"But... you just did."

"No I didn't!" He said as his tail couldn't stop wagging.

"Then why is your tagging wagging? I'm so confused!"

"A-Alright I like you! I give you some of my treasure because it's part of are wolf skin mate thing!"

"M-Mate?!" You couldn't believe your ears. I was coming clear on why he did leave you things by your front door every morning.

"Y-yes... if the mate likes your gifts they'll come to you and say to your face, meaning they accepted you as their mate. I was so happy and thought you accepted me, but then I remembered at the last minute you didn't know what I was doing and got embarrassed by it..."

"Oh Keaton... I'll marry you."

His ears perked up straight, as if he couldn't believe what he was hearing. "Y-you will?"

"I like you Keaton and love how you surprise me with different gifts all the time! Even if some of them are really gross... but that doesn't matter."

"YAY!!!" He tackled hugged you to the ground, biting on your ear. "I finally have mate! One who loves me back!"

You blushed and tried wiggling out under him. "K-Keaton stop chewing on my ear!"

"You are my greatest treasure of all, and you smell the nicest. Hope you ready to be really happy. From now on, I'm keeping you all to myself."

"Wha?! I get that! But why do you keep chewing on my ear?!"

"That's my way of saying your mine only~"
