Ever since you've reunited with your family everything has been great! All expect for the tension between Xander and you. Whenever you two were in the same room he would avert his eyes and quickly leave as possible.

This was hurting you greatly as Camilla, Leo, and Elise didn't know what was going on and were too afraid to ask him. Camilla had an idea as she pulled you over and handed you paperwork.

"Take these to him. He asked me to give them to him but I want you to give it to him."

"Camilla, I love how you are trying to make things right with us... but I just don't know about this one."

"Hush, older sisters know the best (y/n)~"

You rolled your eyes at her statement and when over to his office. Unlike Ryoma's office it was nice and lit with a welcome atmosphere. But here, it was dusty and dark with an sense of grief filling inside each step you took.

You knocked on the door nice and slow how Camilla does it.

"Come in." Xander's rough voice called from inside.

You twisted the door knob open as Xander's eyes looked up and freeze. The tension was high around you two until you coughed and set the papers down on his desk. "Camilla need other work to be done so I delivered these to you."

"Thank you, (y/n)."

He looked down as his pen started writing again. The thinking was killing you as you needed to know and almost shouted at him. "Do you hate me?"

Xander almost dropped his pen as he looked up at you. "I don't hate you! Where did that thought come from?!"

"You Xander! Advoiding me ever chance you can get! Don't you know how much that hurts me to think that my own big brother doesn't want to be near me?"

"(y/n) it isn't like that! I don't want to be away you!"

"Then why do you do that?!"

"Because.... I'm just upset... upset that you didn't chose us. I'm glad you didn't chose Hoshido... but you also didn't choose either of us."

"Xander please stop!" You fisted your hands into balls while trying not to let tears spill out. "Having to choose between the both of you was the hardest decision in my life! I love both my families! The one I came from and the one who raised me! Choosing one over the other still wouldn't be fair! No one around here but Azura gets me!"

"(y/n) please stop..." Xander when over to hug you but you winced away from him.

"Just leave me alone before I hurt you more."

You bolted out of the room as Xander called after you. People called after you while you ran for it. Camilla when out to stop you, but you transformed into a dragon as everyone back away while you ran in the form.

Dry tears were crusted on your face as you also felt a warmth around your body. A blanket was draped over you while Xander's body laid close to yours. A memory came back into your head at the times when you couldn't sleep well you would go to Xander sometimes and sleep with him, he would always chase the bad dreams away.

A soft breeze caught you attention as you looked around to see you were on a hill, remembering you cried yourself to sleep and past out. Xander's horse was sleeping not too far by you guys as you did remember it was a long distance to the castle and back.

A small tug pulled you closer to his body as you looked down to see him blink awake. "I'm sorry (y/n)... I didn't mean to hurt you..."

"I-it's fine..." Your voice was horse and needed some water.

Xander grabbed a water jug as you drank it down. Your throat felt ten times better, but then you started to hiccup.

Xander chuckled as he kissed your nose. "You're still cute even to this day."

Thank goodness for the darkness of the night or he would have seen your blush. "Whatever... I didn't think you would go after me."

"I hurt you, little princess. I would not be able to forgive myself if I didn't."

"Xander... just stop yourself."

"I won't stop, because I was mad at myself because I realized I was being a jerk towards you. I love you, (y/n), and not in a sisterly way anymore."

"X-Xander just stop... your tired and confused."

He laughed once again and kissed your forehead. "If I was confused I wouldn't have chased after you. Just hear me out and marry me, (y/n)."

"I-I *sigh* alright then... but I do love you Xander... I always have."

"I love you more, my Little Princess~"

He kissed your lips as you hummed and kissed back. You soon fell asleep in each other's arms that night and came back the next morning. Yes, you did tell Camilla she was right after all.
