Waking up this morning, I felt a lot lighter, speaking with Aditya early in the morning had altered my views of him slightly, I still couldnt work him out and I was still going to try, but he didn't seem anywhere near as bad as I initially thought, I finished washing up before deciding to go and see Aditya, the need to know more about him was all consuming

Aditya opened his door, yawning he rested against the wall "What brings you here" he questioned, then a smile lit up his face "You brought apples" he reached out to take it off of me but I held it behind my back

"Wait, I wanted to ask, if you wanted to eat breakfast with me"

His face dropped, "I, I kind of have a guest right now"

A guest? As far as I knew no one had slept the night, as if reading my mind he explained

"After you woke me up, I couldnt sleep, I saw Mahi from the shop had text me so I asked her to meet, and yeah, she's now in my bed" he had the cheek to look amused, but I knew I should have trusted my gut from the start, he was only after one thing and when he realised he couldn't get it from me, he hadn't waited a second to find it elsewhere

I placed the apple in his hand before going to walk away, only to have him grab my wrist "Honestly Aditya, it was my mistake to think better of you in the firstplace, go, enjoy breakfast with Mahi" I rolled my eyes

"I have no idea why you're so angry at me, its not like we're together" he wrangled out, blowing out air from the side of his mouth

"You dont get it do you, its not the fact that you sleep around that bothers me, its your blatant disregard to my feelings, you feed me all this crap that makes you sound wise and knowledgeable yet as soon as you realise I wont have sex with you, you run off elsewhere to get it, im angry that I found you in the alleyway and you were rude but nice to her when she bumped into you, im angry that you refused to leave my home, forcing your friendship on me yet when I be kind enough to want to be your friend, you are to busy with some other woman who you barely know" I swallowed thickly, the pain in my throat was raw from shouting

"But I barely know you" he reasoned, his blue t-shirt rising slightly as he shrugged

"But you know me more than you know her, yet you still cant respect me enough, do you know what, Im done" I began to walk away

"Look Zoya, if you were interested in me, why didnt you just say, there's no need to be jealous"

"IM NOT JEALOUS" I shouted back, wishing I still had that apple to throw at him, deciding to just walk away instead, he clearly understood nothing I was saying

"Habibti" he called again

"My name is Zoya" I shouted out before slamming my door, hoping I never ever had to speak to him again, he could do as he liked with who he liked as long as he stayed out of my way

I walked past my balcony, shivering from the cold chill, the rain was starting to get worse, deciding to move my table and chairs inside, I lifted my table, bringing it inside, stepping back out to grab my chair, the door slammed from behind me, I tried to shove it open, but to no avail

My door only opened from one end when shut if the key was inside, the rain began to pour more making me shiver, I picked up the chair, smashing it into the window, only to have it bounce back and flip over the railing, I looked around for something else to break the glass, when I had double glazed windows put in, I had never expected to be trapped outside in the cold with glass that wouldnt break

Rubbing my arms with my now wet hands, I turned to Aditya's balcony "Aditya, Aditya" I shouted, I slid down to the floor, pulling my legs to my chest in hopes I could keep myself warm until Aditya came outside, I felt my whole body shake, tears filling my eyes, the fear of being stuck here for to long and the cold seeping into my veins became all to much at once, suddenly my eyes were closing

I awoke to find myself on my bed, a worried Aditya looming over me "Zoya, you're awake, thank god" he helped me sit up, pulling the three blankets over me

"How, how did you get in" my brows furrowed making my head ache even more

"When I saw you unconscious on the balcony, I kicked open your door, unlocked the balcony and brought you in here, why didnt you call for me" wrinkles lined his forehead in ovbious concern, but I was having none of it

"I did, but the rain and wind was to loud for you to hear" I shivered again, sniffing I grabbed the tea by my side, not caring for how hot it was, I drank it quickly hoping to warm up

"You're crazy habibti, you could have died, next time, atleast make sure you have your phone with you, I had to come all the way here and"

I couldn't believe he was about to complain about having to save me, like I hadn't already saved him once. "Thanks for your help, but you can go home now, im sorry for disturbing you" I led back down, turning on my side facing away from him

"Be as angry as you like, im not leaving until im sure you're okay, the last thing I need is a dead girl on my conscience" I felt him sit beside me, rubbing one of my hands with both of his

I closed my eyes hoping he wouldnt try to make anymore conversation, I was greatful for his help, but wanted nothing more than to return back to the time before I had met Aditya "Just go home Aditya, you're not wanted here"

"Tough, when have I ever listened to anything you say, I told you before and ill say it again, im back now, things in this neighbour hood have changed"

Exhaustion took over quickly, I tried to focus on his words only to feel my body become slack again, unable to fight it I allowed sleep to take over, in hopes that when I awoke id be feeling a lot better
