(Yuji Pov)
I don't know what I was expecting when they said 'town' but it certainly wasn't anything like what I currently saw in front of me. The place in front of me was one of the most amazing places I'd ever seen.

The homes looked to be made in the style of regular kingdoms while there were a few made in a very different style. I watched the group of goblins walk into before quickly catching up to them and talking to the leader.

"You call this a town, it looks more like a city" I told him as I looked around at everything.

He laughed as he looked at my interest in everything "Yeah, we get that reaction a lot, however our lord doesn't feel that we're big enough to be considered a city yet"

I looked back at him and nodded "Well, I guess in the end it is up to him"

He nodded before stopping in front of a building "We can just drop the meat off here, then I'll show you to our lord about your stay"

I nod and walk inside the building before setting the meat down where the others put it. I then followed the leader of the group as we walked through the town.

"Oh, I forgot to introduce myself, you can call me Rigurd" He tells me.

I smiled and looked up at him "Nice to meet you Rigurd, you can call me Yuji"

"Oh, so your named already?" He asks

"Yeah, why wouldn't I be?" I look up at him confused

"Well, normally monsters are born without a name, and many of them live their life without ever getting one, however there are sometimes monsters who are given a name by really powerful people, once that happens they gain more power and sometimes evolve and they become a part of that persons grouping" He explained

"Oh, so that's what happened" I nod my head in understanding.

"So, how'd you get your name" He asks as he looks down at me.

I frown a bit and go back to looking at the various building we pass "I'm not sure, I don't remember much of my life from before I began traveling" I tell him

"Oh, I'm sorry to hear that, I hope your able to recover your memory" He says with a smile.

"Me too Rigurd, me too" I tell him

We make the rest of the trip in silence before coming to a stop in front of a small building.

"Here we are, this is where our lord usually is, you can talk to him about staying here" He says while opening the door.

I nodded and walked inside the building as I found myself in a waiting room with a desk in the center and a few chairs placed near the walls of the room.

Behind the desk there was a beautiful woman with light purple hair, fair skin, and light purple eyes. She wore a purple suit with a beige colored shirt underneath it. I walked up to her as she looked up at me.

"How can I help you?" She asked with a smile.

"Umm, well I wanted to speak with the leader of this town" I tell her.

"Oh, what do you need to speak with lord Rimuru about?" She asked as she tilts her head in confusion.

"Well, I was invited by Rigurd to stay here, so he said I should talk to his lord about this" I explain

She nods and stands up before gesturing to the various chairs in the room "Have a seat, I'll go and see if he has time for a meeting"

I nod and take a seat as she walks through a door. I waited for a bit and hummed to myself as I waited for her to come back. I kept humming to myself before hearing the door open again as she walked out and smiled at me.

"He says he's open for a meeting right now, so just head in when your ready" She says

I nod and get up as I head towards the door 'I wonder what the ruler of this place is like' I wondered to myself before opening the door.
