Arjun kept looking at the direction Sagarika went, was he too bold in his approach or did he loose his decency that she ran away.

"Parth ?" Krishna approached him.

"Madhav, why did she ran away ? Was I too forward ? Did I scare her away ?" Arjun asked.

"No Parth. She needs time. After all, its only been a month since she stepped onto this world." Krishna said.

"Then I must give her time." Arjun said.

"That's the thing parth, you don't have time to give her." Krishna said.

"I didn't understand Madhav, what are you implying ?" Arjun asked.

"You will come to know."  Krishna said.

Maharaj Kshitij was in his room doing some work for the Kingdom, when a dadi entered.

"Maharaj, crown prince Duryodhan is here to meet you." The dasi informed.

"Send him in." Maharaj Kshitij said. Duryodhan arrogantly enters the room or one could say stomping.

"Yes Yuvraj, how can I help you ?" Maharaj Kshitij said.

"Maharaj Kshitij, I want something from you." Duryodhan said.

"What is it ?" Maharaj Kshitij asked.

"But I doubt that you can give it to me." Duryodhan said.

"That depends on what you're asking for." Kshtij said.

"I want a daan. But I highly doubt that whether or not you can give it to me." Duryodhan said.

"You are my guest Yuvraj, it is my duty give you everything you desire. Now what daan are you asking for ?" Kshitij asked.

"Promise me that you will give it to me." Duryodhan said.

"Alright, I promise." Kshitij said.

"Kanya daan." Duryodhan said.

"What ?" Kshitij muttered.

"You heard me right. I want your daughter's hand in marriage." Duryodhan said confidently.

"Do you know what you are asking for !?" Maharaj Kshitij exclaimed.

"Don't worry Maharaj, I like her and will do anything that makes her happy." Duryodhan said.

"But we just got her after months of penance, I can't let her go so soon." Maharaj said.

"Saurashtra-naresh, one day or the other she has to go." Duryodhan said.

"Why would I give my beloved daughter's hand to you ?" Maharaj Kshitij asked annoyed.

"Well, Saurashtra and Hastinapoor have been good friends but this marriage will strengthen the relationship between the kingdoms." Duryodhan arrogantly said.

Maharaj Kshitij fell in deep thinking, a proper alliance with Hastinapoor is beneficial but its also the matter of his daughter's happiness.

"Never." Kshitij said.

"Maharaj, if Sagarika doesn't become the Kulvadhu of the great dynasty of Kurus then there will be war. And remember my Mitra Karna can eliminate your entire army. When the Mahamahim Bhism, Guru Dron, Kripacharya will come to know that their Yuvraj has been insulted by Saurashtra, they will annihilate your entire kingdom." Duryodhan warned.

Kshitij now fell into a dilemma, what's more important, happiness of his daughter or life of his civilians.

"I need time." Kshitij said.

"No. I want your answer right now." Duryodhan said.

"You cannot force me." Kshitij said.

"Oh I believe I can. I will marry Sagarika and make her mine forever even if I have to kill everyone in Saurashtra for it." Duryodhan said.

Kshitij didn't know what to say, his daughter was his life and the civilians are his duty.

"ANSWER ME MAHARAJ !" Duryodhan yelled.

"Alright I agree !" Maharaj exclaimed.

Kshitij was in disbelief with himself, what did he just say ? What will happen to his beloved daughter Sagarika once she marries an unrighteous man like him ? Did he just ruin the life of his very own daughter ?

"I knew you were smart." Duryodhan said smirking.
