The Pandavas and Sagarika were in the common room with Krishna duscussing how to annex Magadh and allied kingdoms.

"If Jarasandh is not ready to form alliance then he must be killed." Krishna said.

"Isn't there a more peaceful way ?" Yuddhishtir asked.

"Killing Jarasandh will be a demonstration of your power and then the Rajsui yagya will he the symbol of your competence. If you kill Jarasandh, then all the kings will accept you as the undefeated emperor of Aryavart." Krishna said.

"Then how do we do it Vasudev ?" Bheem asked.

"We cannot defeat Jarasandh in war." Krishna said.

"What's your plan Keshav ?" Sagarika asked smiling.

"Sakhi, my plan is to always guide others." Krishna said chuckling.

"Then guide us Vasudev." Nakul said.

"Jarasandh cannot deny a challenge of Mal-yudh. I need Bhrata Bheem and Arjun to accompany me to Magadh." Krishna said.

"As you say Madhav." Arjun agreed.

Balram was with his sister, none other than the yogmaya herself, Subhadra.

"Dau, you might have seen all the warriors of Aryavart." Subhadra said.

"I have." Balram said.

"Then tell me, if I have to marry someone then who will it be ?" Subhadra asked.

"There are many warriors whose competence will compliment your beauty and intelligence. But I feel that my student Duryodhan will be best for you." Duryodhan said.

"But Bhratashree Krishna said that Pandav kumar Arjun best archer and is the best among men, the Kshatriyas find their chief in him, there is no warrior like him, nor on earth nor in the heavens. Then why Duryodhan and not him ?" Subhadra asked.

"Arjun is indeed great Subhadra, but I don't want you end up like other wives of Pandavas. Devoid of their husbands for years, longing and waiting for them. No matter how much their other wives love them, they always stay with Sagarika." Balram said.

"Is that a bad thing Dau ?" Subhadra asked.

"I didn't say that. What Sagarika has done for them, they must and should stay with her but Arjun cannot take you with him to Indraprasth. Just like Uloopi and Chitangada you will in the absence of your husband always waiting and yearning for him while he would be enjoying his life with Sagarika." Balram said.

"But Dau, I feel like my heart has ready fallen for Kumar Arjun." Subhadra said.

"Don't be silly Subhadra. Seems like you have been mesmerized by the words of Kanha, I wouldn't blame you either. He mesmerizes and fools anyone with his words. But that doesn't mean you will loose your senses and don't see what's practical and best for you." Balram said and walked away.

Subhadra disappointedly looked down, wondering why Balram understands her feelings.
