👆Kiera's dress.

Okay, this was gonna be my second date with him. The first one was surprising. Stefan was always unpredictable. Who knew where he was taking me.

I had called to ask him again what type of dress I should wear. Who knew where he would be taking me. As usual he told me I looked beautiful in everything. So, of course I chose a gown. Red this time. If he was head over heels for me, this time he was gonna be 'Kiera over everything'. Well, he already was that. The way he spent the whole day with me even after getting almost 50 calls from his uncle. I felt important. I felt like I was his priority. It was a nice feeling.

My phone rang. It was Ryan. I picked it up.

"Hey, Kiera. How are you?" he asked. I understood from his guarded tone that he thought I was still upset about the incident.

"Hey, Ryan. I'm fine now," I told him.

"Good to know. I was worried," he answered and his tone was coated with worry.

"You worry too much. I'm okay," I told him.

"You sound happy," he stated.

"Well, I am, sort of," I told him as color spread on my cheeks.

"Can I know the reason?" he asked.

"Uhh... well it's a long story. Listen, I gotta go right now. I'm gonna tell you later," I told him quickly.

"Okay, bye," he replied and he sounded upset. Okay, I did not mean to make him upset. But I didn't feel like telling him or anyone anything yet. We were not official yet so how could I. Then I went up to get dressed. This time I did not keep the makeup simple. I decided to wear red lipstick. I was done when the bell rang. That idiot had a key and he was still ringing the bell. What an idiot!

I went and opened the door. It was Stefan. Man... Okay I felt like going back inside. He looked edible. Thankfully, he didn't notice me gauging at him because he was too busy drinking in my appearance. His mouth was hanging open. I suppressed laughter with a cough.

" Are you done?" I asked and smirked.

"I-uh-I...," he was stammering. 10 points for Kiera.

Okay, I couldn't hold in my laugh anymore. I started laughing and he joined me. When we finally stopped, he held my hand and got onto his knees. I gasped.

"Kiera, I know we haven't been friends for long and we don't know each other completely. But I would like to have a chance to get to know you and to be with you. In this little time that we have had, I fell in love. Maybe it seems absurd but I love you. I have loved you for quite some time. I hope you feel the same way about me," he said looking in my eyes. I could feel tears collecting in my eyes. This guy....

"Do you love me?" he asked. And for the first time I heard fear in his voice. I stared at him for a moment.

"Yes," I finally said and a smile replaced his tense expression.

He took out a ring and put it on my ring finger. My mouth actually hung open.

"Stef..," I stared saying but he cut me off.

"Kiera, this is a promise ring. I promise to stay with you and be by your side. I promise to love you. I promise to hold on and to never let you go. I promise you 'Always'. I promise to never hurt you intentionally. I promise to keep you safe and protect you. And last but not least I promise to replace this promise ring with a marriage ring someday," he said and I couldn't stop my tears anymore. They flowed as he kissed my hand, then my forhead and finally, my lips.
