Lucy's POV

I still remember how I found Natsu.

I was at my desk writing in my novel. Until I heard a thud. I squeaked and walked over to the source of the sound, the window. I screamed at what I saw. "KYAAAAA WHAT ARE YOU!" It seems to scream as well. Then I stop at the same time it does. I walk to the window and open it. It smiles and hops on my bed. I giggle. "What's your name cutie?" It blushes and then points to it's neck. I lean in to get a closer look. It looked human but with horns and a tail with a little fire on it. He was wearing a little black vest and white pants. It had a little collar on. "Natsu? Your name is Natsu?" He smiles and nods. I smile back. "Anyways, my name is Lucy. Why did you appear in front of my window?" He tilts his head. Then he stands up from his sitting position. He flaps his arms like a bird. Then he makes a throwing motion with both of his hands. (Natsu can't talk by the way) I blink. "A bird threw you into the window? Why were you with a bird?" He shrugs. Meaning 'I don't know'. I tilt my head. "Do you...want that collar on still?" He shakes his head. I smile. "Ok, I'll take it off for you" He smiles.

I smile. I hear a weird squeak noise. I look down and see Natsu. "Hey Natsu! Want up?" He nods so I pick him up. I set him down on the desk in front of me. He looks up at me and purrs. (However Natsu can make noises). I giggle and pet him. He purrs louder and rubs himself against my hand. His tail wags, the fire almost going out. I giggle. "Aw~ You're so cute!" He turns pink but purrs. I remove my hand but he uses his hands to pull it back. I giggle. "Alright a bit longer. I have to cook dinner. Wanna help?" He nods and purrs. I rub his head before standing up. He whines but I giggle. I pick him up and set him on my head. He makes a sound and lays himself down. I smile and walk to the kitchen. "Hm~. What to cook what to cook~" Natsu purrs and nuzzles my hair. I smile and then pull out some ingredients. "You alright with Grilled chicken?" He purrs in response. Which means yes.

After eating, we go to the guild. (Yes there is the guild. I'm not going introduce everyone so I'll describe the other creatures. Gray is made out of ice. He has wolf like tail and ears. No he can't melt. Laxus has yellow horns and a tail with a lightning bolt at the tip. Wendy has light blue horns and tail like Natsu except she has a bubble of air on the tip of her tail. Gajeel is the same but has metal horns and tail however, he has a metal crystal on the tip of his tail. Jellal is like a cat with blue ears and tail. These are the pairings, of course. Nalu, duh, Gruvia, Jerza, Rowen, Gale or Gajevy whatever you want to call it, and Miraxus.) Natsu makes a sound as I open the doors. "Morning!" Natsu squeaks when everyone replies back with a 'Moring Lucy!' Natsu crawls off my head and to my shoulder. He rubs his head against mine. "What is it Natsu?" He purrs. I smile.

"Lucy-nee?" I turn around and see Romeo with Wendy on his shoulder. "Yes Romeo?" He looks up at Natsu, who tilts his head. "Wendy wanted to talk to Natsu-nii" Me and Natsu look at each other. "Is that alright with you Natsu?" He squeaks and nods. "Alright, lets set them on the bar though" "Alright" Natsu purrs and rubs his head against mine. I giggle. "Alright Natsu, I'll be back in a minute. Take your time with Wendy ok?" He squeaks and nods. Me and Romeo set them both down on the bar and go sit at a table. I see Juvia, Erza, Levy, and Mira set Gray, Jellal, Gajeel, and Laxus down on the bar next to Natsu and Wendy. Me and Romeo look at each other. "What's going on Lucy-nee?" I blink and look at Natsu. "That's a good question." The others come and sit with us. "Hey Lucy, Romeo. Yours wanted to talk too?" I look up at Erza. "Natsu didn't know, Wendy was the one who wanted to talk." Romeo nods. "Well anyway, all we can do is wait." I nod.

During the time they were talking, they all gave us a glance. But now, they're finished. Natsu looks at me and squeaks. I stand up and walk over to him. He looks up at me and raises his arms. I ignore the other creature's staring at me and pick him up. He purrs and rubs his face against mine. I giggle and rub back. I walk over to a table and set him down while the others get the ones on the bar. Natsu makes an 'ah' sound. "What Natsu?" He motions me to bring my head down so I do. I turn pink when he kisses my cheek. I hold the cheek he kissed. "Natsu? What was that for?" He turns pink and looks away while scratching his cheek. He grins and wags his tail. I giggle but when he looks away, I look down sadly. When he kissed me on the cheek, it felt like a good bye.

After a day at the guild, we went home. It was time for bed so I was in my pajamas. Natsu was waiting on the bed with his tail wagging. I giggle and lean down. "put your tail out now. I don't want my bed on fire." He pouts and grabs his tail. He blows the fire out. I crawl into bed. He curls up next to me. I yawn then smile at him. "Turn off the lamp please?" He pouts and turns off the lamp before curling up again. I close my eyes and fall asleep.

I hear a whisper. "I'm sorry Lucy, but I have to go..." I open an eye and see Natsu but as a human with the same features. I close them again then feel something soft on my lips. I kiss back then sit up. "Why are you leaving Natsu?" He jumps in surprise. Then he looks away. "cats out of the bag huh?" He chuckles. "Anyways, you and the others are being targeted by the 'evil one' So me Laxus, Wendy, Gray, Jellal, and Gajeel are going to destroy it before 'he' hurts you. I shouldn't take long but..." I tilt my head. "But?" He sighs. "It might take longer. So promise me, wait for me ok?" I smile sadly. "Ok" He hugs me before kissing me. I kiss back then he pulls back. "I left you a note explaining some things. Bye Lucy" I kiss him again before I pull back and lay back down. "Bye Natsu" He kisses my forehead as I fall asleep.

Five years since he left. Gray, Wendy, Gajeel, Jellal, and Laxus left just like Natsu said. We were all lonely without them. Everyone has all changed. But that's not important. Anyways, I was at the guild, talking to Levy-chan when the guild doors slammed open. We all look at the doors. But I widen my eyes. I could hear everyone whispering. "Who's that?" "They look familiar." I quickly stand up. "Nat...su...Natsu!" I start crying and rush over to him. I tackle him in a hug. He laughs and picks me up. "Lucy! Lucy I missed you!" I sob into his shoulder. "Natsu~ Why did you take so long! You said it would only be a while! Not five years!" He nuzzles my head. "I'm sorry Lucy. I'll make it up to you" I feel his tail wrap around me. "You better!" "GRAY-SAMA! JUVIA HAS MISSED YOU!" I ignore Juvia and the rest. "Lucy..." I look up at him then he kisses me. I widen my eyes then close them while kissing back. I hear wolf whistles but I ignore them. We pull back a minute later. "I'm home Lucy" I smile. "Welcome back."
