1: Don't be a ghost reader! I would really like it if, when I do accept your character, that you interact with the story!! If you don't, that's a very likely chance I won't accept your character

2: Be nice! I don't want any hate or backlash, especially if I don't pick your OC!! Let's just make this a nice, fun space, okay? Okay

3: Face-claims! Remember: These characters were part of an ALL-GIRLS boarding school before they get stranded in the wilderness, so please keep that in mind with characters/face claims!! No cis male characters/face claims allowed!! Given that, make sure your characters are diverse!! POC, disabled/neurodivergent and queer characters are very welcome here (even with, given 80s, queer and neurodivergent characters would be closeted/undiagnosed), along with making sure they all have flaws and personalities that can sometimes clash (while I love found family as much as the next person, these girls WILL be sacrificing and cannibalising each other and clashing personally with each other, so make sure they don't all get along)!! And please use face-claims that could suit a wilderness/survival setting! Though, if you want to use the Yellowjackets cast (at least the teen versions)... feel free too given this WAS inspired by Yellowjackets >:)

4: Age! Just like with face claims, these characters are all roughly late teens, around 17-18. Please remember that when choosing face claims!

5: Deaths! Sorry, but except for the three survivors, most of your OCs will probably die, so don't be too upset when they do! Though, it is VERY nebulous on who will ultimately survive along with Mina >:)

6: Sexual content! This is just a general rule of mine, but if you're expecting me to write smut or any sexual content in this, then get the hell out of here and expect your form to be declined IMMEDIATELY. I am NOT a smut writer, both because it's uncomfortable for me to write as an asexual writer and just because I don't want to write it generally, so please accept if there's ANY implication of sexual content occurring, then expect fade to black scenes or casual mentions ONLY (however, romance is a very different thing, and if you want your characters to have a love interest/be in a relationship, that will be a guarantee!! Just not with any OCs who are aroace or with the freaking married TEACHER, because that's not okay :) )

Background: Born to middle-class parents, Mina is the older sister of her little sister, Sarah. Stuck between the corner of upper-class suburbia and the lower-class of Baymore, Maine, Mina worked hard both to make things easier for her hard-working parents and to achieve her dream career as a biologist, though she makes time for her sister and the cat she absolutely adores, Rhiannon (named after the Fleetwood Mac song). When she got accepted into Pennhaven Girls' School, Mina was subdued, though hopeful—after all, maybe being at a girls' school would make it easier to avoid questions of why she wasn't dating anyone or did she have a boyfriend yet. And at Pennhaven, Mina grew close with her biology teacher, Mrs. Shawn, who seemed to like her passion of biology and encouraged it, the two developing a mother-daughter bond, though she kept to being a loner. So when the field trip was offered, Mina jumped on the chance for it. Little did she know of what would happen in the Alaskan wilderness, and that in the end, she'd be one of the lucky three to survive, a real-life final girl like the ones from the horror movies she loves—that is, if she was even that lucky.

Personality: Bubbly—that's a word best described for Georgia Shawn's personality. While some students have tested her will, she enjoys every second of being a teacher and finds it fulfilling. She is also very trusting, inclined to believe everyone is deserving of trust, and that has lead to strains in her marriage. But when her class is stranded in Alaska after planning a field trip as a reward, her trust in her students—in their goodness—is put to the test, and may be proven wrong. That, perhaps, she may regret the field trip in the first place.

Background: Coming from a poor family, Georgia worked hard to achieve her goal of going to college and becoming a teacher, where she combined that with her love of biology and where she met her husband, Henry. They married a year after they graduated, and soon had a child together—a daughter named Alice. Georgia soon applied for a job at Pennhaven Girls' School, where she flourished as a teacher and whom all her students adored, including her Alice when she went to the school and graduated, just a year before the girl who would become her second daughter, Mina Harwin, would be enrolled in the school and be part of her biology class, sharing Georgia's love of biology and distracting her from arguments with her husband and the strains of their marriage. So, after seeing how hard her class worked in biology and thinking they deserved a reward, she organised a two-month field trip to Alaska as that reward, and to also escape the difficulties of her marriage. But if she had known what would have happened when they got into that plane... then perhaps she would never have organised that field trip in the first place and everything would have turned out for the better.
