Akina only glanced at her opponent, watching their movements very closely. There was a really tense silence, followed by a thin tension that could easily be cut with a knife. Their opponent felt sweat rolling down their face, eyes nervously darting around. "R-Reverse!" they called out as they placed a yellow reverse, the turn switching to Akina. The two teenagers looked at Akina, expecting her next move. She simply looked at the deck with an emotionless expression.

"Uno." the raven simply called, placing down a yellow eight.

"Fuck!" two voices cursed, heavily shaking as they looked at their respective decks.

"Rai, I'm sorry, I don't have anything to make her draw cards." one apologized, placing down a yellow six. 'Rai' looked at their deck in nervousness. It looked like they didn't have anything else to play. At least, that was what Akina thought.

"Draw four!" they shouted, confidently yet nervously placing down a draw four. Akina's eyes slightly widened, not expecting that. However, she shook her head before placing her own draw four.

"I win." she said, watching as the other two groaned in frustration as they threw their cards in defeat.

"You're too good at this game Kina-chan!" 'Rai' huffed, puffing out their cheeks. Akina just shook her head.

"Sorry Rai. You guys are just too predictable." she told them, taking a good look at her two close friends.

The girl to her right was Tsuchiya Rai. Rai was a girl who stood at 5"3, had short, messy, periwinkle hair held in a ponytail with a light pink scrunchie, tanned skin and pale red eyes. She was wearing the Mizo Middle School female uniform, except she wasn't wearing the tie, and her shirt was slightly unbuttoned.

Rai was a caring, extroverted, stubborn and rash girl. She has no sense of personal space, she always jumps to conclusions, and is way too loud sometimes. However, she was loyal to the people she loved and trusted, and didn't doubt on following orders.

While the boy to the left was Kotoji Yuuji, a boy who stood at 5"7. He had neatly slicked back dark gray hair, and dark green eyes. He wore the male Mizo Middle School uniform, except he wore a vest over the shirt.

Yuuji was the complete opposite of Rai. He was more timid and introverted, but not afraid to voice his opinion. Around strangers, he was reserved, quiet, and sometimes cold. However, around his close circle he was more open, and often told jokes.

"But for real, how are you so good at Uno?" Yuuji asked, genuinely curious.

"Me and my sister play card games sometimes. She's the one who taught me the secrets of the game." Akina answered, watching as Rai started shuffling the deck again, her orchid eyes focused on the fast movements the periwinkle haired girl made.

"Umm... Kina, you have a visitor." Kanae called, peeking her head outside the door frame. The raven looked at her sister, raising a brow. Much to the other two's surprise and Kanae's nervousness, Hanma appeared, with his usual grin plastered in his face.

Hanma became a usual guest at the Ryukuroi household. He often dropped by just to hang out with Akina, drag her into his messes or just to help her with her stuides in human emotions.

"Hey Angel~" he greeted.

"Hello Hanma-san. May I ask, what's the meaning of your sudden visit?" Akina asked while Kanae left the four alone.

"Well, just thought I'd let you know we're planning on attacking Toman during the festival due to a request!" Hanma spoke, slinging his arm around her shoulders. She raised a brow at that.

"Really? Who'd request that?" she asked.

"Apparently it's one of their own. I don't know, I think it was because they were holding a grudge against the vice-leader, yada yada yada, Moebius will attack him during the festival, yada yada yada." he explained, leaving out the boring details.

"I see. Well, you better prepare. It's Ryuguji-san, after all. And Sano-san will probably be mad at you." she told him. The boy just grinned, and then looked at the other two people in the room.

"Are these your friends?" he asked, receiving a nod for an answer.

"T-TALL!" Rai squeaked, looking at Hanma with stars in her eyes. Yuuji sweatdropped at that.

"Sorry about her. She's just taken aback by your height." he apologized "My name's Kotoji Yuuji, Akina's close friend." he introduced himself.

"I-I'm Tsuchiya Rai, Kina-chan's closest friend! Nice to meet you!" Rai spoke loudly, bowing down. Accidentally hitting her head on the table, making a dent.

"Rai! The table!" Yuuji scolded.

"God dammit! Not again!" the red eyed girl whined. Akina just watched the interaction, sighing. She then looked over to the table, seeing the small dent Rai left.

"Damn, that was a hit." Hanma whistled, resting his chin on Akina's head. She just rolled her eyes.

"Do you want to play Hanma-san?" the raven asked, looking at the taller boy. He raised a brow.

"Sure. I don't know how to tho." he answered.

"That's easy. We can teach you how to play." Yuuji shrugged. The brown haired boy plummeted down, right between Akina and Yuuji. Rai started handing out cards.

"What a bad hand..." Yuuji sighed, looking at his own hand.

"Uh... I don't know whether this is good or bad." Hanma sweatdropped. He knew he couldn't show off his cards right now, that'd give them an advantage over him.

"Alright, I'll start." Rai said, getting a card from the deck. Red 3. She placed down a red 4. Akina placed down a red 9. Hanma looked at his cards for a few seconds before placing down a red 1.

"Dammit, why couldn't one of you change it." Yuuji grumbled as he started drawing cards. He got two cards before placing down a red 7.

"Reverse." Rai smirked, placing down a red reverse. Yuuji fought back with his own blue reverse. Rai put down a blue 2. Akina drew three cards until she put down a blue 4.

"Fuck." Hanma cursed before starting to draw. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5.

When he drew the sixth one, he placed down a blue +2.

"Nooo-" Yuuji fake cried before putting down a yellow +2. Rai simply sighed before drawing four cards.

"I don't have a yellow." Akina sighed before drawing two cards and getting a yellow 5. Hanma placed a yellow 7.

"I can't place down a yellow because I don't have one, but I can change the colour." Yuuji mumbled before putting down a green 7.

"W H Y green?" Rai groaned, looking at her deck in frustration.

"It's not like-" Yuuji quickly shut down when the periwinkle haired girl placed down a colour change.

"Let's go back to red." she innocently said. Akina placed a red 2, Hanma then decided to mess a little bit with Yuuji. He placed down a red +2, watching with a smirk as the gray haired male stared at the card with an annoyed expression.

"W H A T" Yuuji deadpanned, annoyed that he had to draw more cards.

"Eat ass, Yuuji!" Hanma laughed, grinning. Yuuji just grumbled.

"Reverse!" Rai said, putting down a reverse. Yuuji just smirked before placing down a plus four. Hanma widened his eyes, not expecting that.

"Eat ass, Hanma." Yuuji smirked, using the taller's own words against him. Hanma just rolled his eyes before drawing cards.

The round went on like that, with just Yuuji, Rai and Hanma messing with each other. "Hah. Take that." Rai smirked, putting down a green +2. Yuuji placed a red +2, which meant Hanma had to draw four.

"Uno." Akina called out, placing down a red 4. The three turned to her in surprise, having forgotten she was also playing. They all looked at their cards nervously, trying to think of what to use to make her get cards. As soon as it was Rai's turn, she changed the colour to green via a green 5. Akina just glanced at her card before drawing one, which turned out to be a colour change.

"Blue." she simply said. They all had to draw cards, as none had a blue.

Akina ended up winning after placing down her blue six.

"How are you so good at this, for real?" Hanma asked, giving his cards to Rai so she could put the deck back inside the box.

"Simple. You guys were so heated up in your own little quarrels, I just stayed silent, only placing cards or drawing them. You never noticed it until I said uno." Akina explained, stretching herself.

"That's really fucking smart, dammit." Rai cursed under her breath, Yuuji nodding in agreement.

"How could I've expected less from her?! She's basically a genius!" Hanma grinned, slinging his arm around Akina's shoulders. The raven just rolled her eyes.

"I'll take the compliment, Hanma-san." she just said.

"Hey! Who's down for some Just Dance?" Rai suggested, getting out the Wii U.

"I'd rather not. That's not a game I'm good at." Akina answered.

"Aww, come Angel~! It'll be fun!" Hanma nudged, getting up. She simply looked at him for a few seconds.

"As long as you don't make fun of me, I'm alright." she sighed. The tall boy just grinned, nodding.
