Title: Tuesday's Are Half Off

Prompt: Gayle Gossip or Dareth

A/N: Dialog is from S11E8 Snaketastroypy! I was forced to watch this scene 50 times - don't ask.

"Man, all this running around and all these fireballs are sure making me thirsty!"

"Ugh, me too. Wouldn't it be great if there was a friendly karaoke club somewhere?"

"It sure would!"

"Well, you're in luck! Because guess what just reopened after extensive renovations? That's right! Laughy's Karaoke Club!"

Dareth watched from behind the bar as the commercial played on one of the many large screen TV's at Laughy's. As he slowly dried a glass, he mouthed the words along with the commercial.

"So come-- so come on down and have a nice refreshing boba drink and sing some songs!"

He set the glass down on the bar countertop, staring distantly. The club was empty, but it would be a full house in a few hours. Dareth loved his business, one of many failed attempts over the years, but he always got back on his feet and tried again. Ninja never quit!

"Tuesday's are half off! The savings will make your head spin!"

Dareth chuckled as the commercial version of himself flew away in a low tech FX spinjitzu tornado. Silly but effective. Tuesday's were always a packed house.

He placed another glass down then started drying another, staring at the empty tables of the restaurant floor. He loved all his customers, but a certain group held a special place in his heart: the ninja and elemental masters. He didn't see them much lately, they had been off on adventures to other realms and other nations. But they did make an effort to stop by every once and a while. Laughy's held a special place in their hearts too.

Customers started trickling in and Dareth put on a smile and stepped up the charm. He hoped the ninja would stop by today. He missed them. Besides, Tuesday's were half off.
