Dear Michael,

If you're reading this, I'm not in a secure place right now. I had the post office mail this to you whenever I disappear.

I figured that I owed you an explanation for my behavior, and wasn't sure how I would say it.

I think I've discovered the secret to immortality. Yeah I know it sounds foolish. Moreso because my notion is from a children's fiction book. But I have a feeling that this isn't a fairytale. Rather a handbook to becoming a god.

I don't want immortality just for myself. I wanted it for our whole family. Sadly, Eleanor left us and Elizabeth's accident took her away from us. All I have left are my two boys. I want to protect you any way I can. Even if that meant scaring Tristen into staying home with illusions. Or being distant from you.

Sadly, gaining immortality comes at the cost of the lives of others. Charlotte? That was me. All the disappearances from the first location? Also me. But not to worry, killing them and any more I did means that you and Tristen won't feel the cold hands of death. This was the right thing to do. I'm sure of it.

I want you to continue my work since I'm gone. Firstly, the book I referred to earlier is the one I labeled "Photo Album" in the old house. Read it. Learn from it.

Secondly, Circus Baby's Rentals should be open by the time you get this letter. You have to save Elizabeth. I created the Funtime animatronics out of remnant metal, and at this point she's been spread across the 4 mascots. Put her back together, inside of Circus Baby. But be wary, the other spirits are restless.

If all goes well, you will have your sister back and the rental company at your disposal to collect more remnant. Make you and your brother immortal. Stay safe. Or don't. It's up to you.
