Wintermint Cookie

As Salty Potato taught me how to apply makeup, to practice for the plan, another warning blared through the streets. The battle had come again. The Soda Sorcerer's minions were fighting in vain, trying to destroy the wall that would never yield to them. I checked a notepad. 871 days had passed since the Soda Sorcerer had regained his powers. 871 of his spells checked. I hoped with all my might that the Soda Sorcerer had not found the spell that penetrated the wall.

"There he is," Salty Potato said quietly.

The Soda Sorcerer was levitating. His magical aura that smelled of soda was a deep brown. He was approaching the wall, with a look of hunger and greed on his tiny, twisted face full of malice.

I told Salty Potato to get her armor on and go help her comrades in the battle.

"I'm sorry, but are you just going to sit here and watch?" Salty Potato questioned.

"Of course not. I will need to create more magical mint and put it in the storerooms. I don't have nearly enough right now to make armor for even one of our seven battalions," I said, a bit miffed that Salty Potato had thought I'd do such a thing.

"I will leave, then," Salty Potato said.

"Goodbye for now," I said.

After Salty Potato left, I created more enchanted mint. I filled bottles made of sugar that was forged into a glass. I willed mint to appear and enchanted it. I then transported it to the storerooms.

I went to the stables and found Peppermint Treat saddled up. I took her reins and rode out to the wall. I went through the wall, and I am able to do that since I am the Empress. I saw my warriors fighting bravely and I saw one of the fallen Savorian warriors. He was barely alive. I slid off Peppermint Treat and took him by the arm. I carried him onto Peppermint Treat and rode to the hospital.

I lifted him off of Peppermint Treat and gave him to a nurse. I had stolen strength from a Sodapolian warrior and gave my strength from the Sodapolian warrior to the wounded in the clinic. I gained healing powers from my time in the orphanage when some pitiful children showed up. They are not quite as strong as Spicy Macaron's powers, but I can heal major wounds just as well.

I went back to the battlefield, and then a Sodapolian warrior spotted me.

"It's the Empress! Seize her!" He cried.

I dodged his attempts to impale me with a spear, although that wasn't necessary on my behalf. It is armor made of my magical mint. It was forged by me and lacquered with the most skillfully enchanted sugar from Empress Sugar Rock, Empress Sweet Caramel's predecessor, and Empress Sweet Caramel's most magical caramel. My mint absorbs the things that make it stronger and shoots it back at the enemy. It also is indestructible by any current means. Empress Sugar Rock's sugar is one of the rarest food substances, as she lived over two hundred years ago. Empress Sugar Rock had a talent for producing enchanted sugar. Nearly all of the sugar she created has already been used. The only bit of it left in its true form is in a large vial that is kept in my bedroom. Empress Sugar Rock's sugar deflects any weapon that comes at it. Empress Sweet Caramel's specially enchanted caramel is not able to be damaged, unlike her regular enchanted caramel. Her caramel harms the ones who attempt to attack it, which is why I heard a scream of pain from the warrior who threw the spear at me.

I heard a cackle that was from none other than the Soda Sorcerer. He materialized in front of me and attempted to attack with Coke brown magic. The armor repelled the attack, leaving him weakened. He had no choice but to retreat, leaving me free to continue on my path.
