E X T E N D E D S U M M A R Y

Some said the town of Hawkins, Indiana was cursed, with one tragedy befalling another as the years passed. What once was a sleepy, quiet town now left its residents in fear, following the fateful night in 1983 that Will Byers was lost in the woods, and every moment thereafter. To the people of Hawkins, a plague resided over the town, no doubt the workings of a fantasy game played by the Hellfire Club, run by their "satanic leader," Eddie Munson. To Maggie Munson, the town was full of "foolish believers," casting stones in glass houses to place blame on the town freak for what was simply a chain of unfortunate events.

However, when the head cheerleader and widely proclaimed "Queen of Hawkins High" is found dead in the Munson family trailer, leaving Eddie on the run as the number one suspect in a new string of murders across town, a witch hunt ensues, blurring the lines dividing fantasy and reality more than Maggie ever thought possible when she finally learns the truth about the horrors plaguing Hawkins behind closed doors. For it only takes one foolish believer to start a witch hunt, and it's up to Maggie and an unlikely group of friends to put an end to the evils plaguing Hawkins once and for all, before it's too late.

A U T H O R ' S N O T E

In case you thought my Stranger Things hyperfixation was nearing its end, fear not because there is much more coming!  As soon as I saw Daisy in Where the Crawdads Sing, I knew she'd make a perfect Munson, and thus my bb Maggie was born. I'm so excited for you all to meet her.
