Kick Eighteen: How could this happen
Previously on FPG:

After twenty minutes of patiently waiting, Natsu finally received the answer he'd been waiting for.

"Lucy is doing just fine, it should heal within' a couple of days. NOW LEAVE!" All the teens scrambled to their feet, leaving the office in hurry.

"Well, isn't she a ray of sunshine?" Mira remarked sarcastically.

"No kidding, my aunt's a buzzkill."

The next day was Natsu, Laxus, Gray, Gajeel, and Jellal's big game. Lucy and Mira were hyped and so were the other girls, so much that they look like cheerleaders. Lucy and Mira walked in, giggling.

Natsu and Laxus rounded the corner, still looking for said girlfriends. They knew they'd be in their jersey's and some more spirit wear. When they looked upon closer inspection, Natsu and Laxus noticed their two peppy girlfriends dressed head to toe in spirit wear.

"Lucy! Mira!" Laxus shouted to them.

Lucy and Mira ran through the hallway, smiles evident on their lips. They were so excited for tonight's game. "Dang, you guys really went all out!" Natsu exclaimed, eyeing them from head to toe.

"We're happy for you both!" Lucy beamed, wrapping her arms around Natsu lazily.

"Well, you'll be happier to know that we're gonna win!"

"Who are we going against again?" A voice interrupted, coming from behind them.

"Hey Juvia. We're facing Otsuko." Lucy replied.

"Great! Gray must be pumped, I have to go find him."

Juvia ran off, and enthusiastic Mira going after her, exclaiming the words 'must catch all the GRUVIA moments'. Lucy shrugged off, knowing Mira was probably going off about her ships...again. Laxus sighed, going after Mira.

Natsu and Lucy smiled at each other. "Let's beat Otsuko ass!"

"Yeah," Natsu smiled, rubbing Lucy's head, making her hair go crazy.

"Well, see ya after class, babe." Natsu kissed Lucy on the forehead, making Lucy nod.

Natsu walked off down the hallway. Lucy sighed happily. Natsu was her dream guy. She had never been one to go after,  stalk a guy, or fall completely in love, but with Natsu, it was obvious she had. I mean, who couldn't? That was the one thing that made Lucy nervous.

The fact that there would always be someone better than her, made her core shake, just thinking about Natsu leaving her made her sick. She shook the thoughts away, walking down the hallway, books in hand.

"Omg! Lucy!" A bunch of random girls stopped her in her tracks, making Lucy cock her head to the side in confusion.

"Um...hi?"

"You're Lucy Heartfilia, right? You're like....my idol!" A girl exclaimed.

Lucy blushed crimson, "Awe, thanks."

Lucy's dream was coming true, she had kicked down the barrier; the one keeping her from being known as herself. Lucy was known as Lucy Heartfilia now. She smiled with glee, skipping off to her next class.
