Tom hesitated. Was it worth it? He took a deep breath, thats when Asha came running. she hugged his leg and smiled

"Hi big brother!" she said with glee

Tom smiled, she knew the truth, yet she held no fear of him. She loved him.

He saw Soke eating a popsicle. That boy loved him too.

"I Like your hair!"

Tom looked to Asha, than to Tord, he smiled. Tord's horned hair was unique . He liked it too.

"Alright." He saw Tord turn

'No. '
'Dont go.'

"See you later Thomas."

Tom held his breath.

"Tord?"

silence.

"yeah?"

He had to push use all of his courage to do this, he pulled off his glasses, allowing Tord to see the empty dark holes. Tom secretly hated himself for letting Tord know. But he too, needed to know something. Or, possibly, the Someone who caused Tords bandages.

Tom felt a need to break the silence

"Debt paid"

His heart feeling like it was constantly being stabbed, he picked up Asha, he ruffled sokes hair, and walked into the comfort of his home, the stabbing becoming less intense as the door closed behind him, sheilding him from any hate from Tord.

Not that there was any.

"Who was that?" Soke asked.

" who said you could have a popsicle? " Tom said, trying to stray away from thinking of Tord.

"Who was thattttt?" Soke whined.

" whoever he was. He saw your eyes! " Asha said, looking at Tom.

Tom set her down on the kitchen island chairs. soke had climbed up too. Tom wiped his purple mouth with a napkin. soke whined and preferred to clean himself.

Tom sighed. "Yeah, I let him, didnt I?" Asha nodded. Soke did too.

Tom groaned. He went to the living room. threw his back pack on the ground and took out his phone as he layed on the couch, Asha and soke began to chase after each other, giggling.

'Time to check the Group chat' tom wanted to get his mind off things.

Tord cringed in the shopping mart. This conversation happened yesterday afternoon, but it was still weird to have Tom named after the drawing. He sighed and continued to look for a blue hoodie.

Tom scrolled back down to where the Group rules should be.

EddHead: Okay here are the Rules.

1.Dont Abandon Us. - dont leave the friendship or else we'll rip you apart like wild beasts.

Tom felt extremely uneasy, until he read the rest.

(just kidding)

But when you physically leave somewhere, tell us when you'll go and be back, we do get worried.

2.Remember Friends Friday! dont bail out without a good reason!

Tom wouldn't dream of forgetting, his fridays were usually boring, watch the kids until Namki comes home from her shop, do homework, the usual highschool life.

3.Dont Lie or Hide things from us.

Tom felt uneasy again, thats what he was doing, Tord technically was too, but it probably isnt as bad as Toms eyes.

4. be a good friend!

tom smiled. Edd obviously wasnt clear on what a good friend was, but no one was pushing Tom away, so maybe he was doing everything right.

His phone buzzed, startling Tom, it was a message from the groupchat.

EddHead: So Tord, do you mind telling us why you had those bandages on?

MattTheMagnificent: Yeah! I was curious and I was gonna ask you as soon as I finished my Lesson on Hand Mirrors! I guess I forgot.

BlueBird: Yeah Tord. What happened?

Tom gave a light chuckle, it hurt, Tord knew about his eyes, but now Tord had to pay back his side of the debt, so he guessed that kind of made up for it.

Tord sighed from the aisle. As if on cue, the message came up when he went to get hair ties.

DevilBoi: Don't Freak out,

Who was he kidding? They were definitely gonna freak out.

DevilBoi: Dont Freak out, But Somber threw a sharpener blade at my neck.

Somewhere Edd was spitting out Cola
Matt just dropped and shattered a hand mirror.
Tom jumped up from the couch and fell onto the floor.

Tord sighed as his phone began to blow up with notifications on the gc. He muted it. His mood lightened when he found a Blue hoodie tossed over a pack of toilet paper. He picked it up and went for check out, holding the ten that Edd gave him.

Somber didnt just target Tord. He targeted anyone who showed weakness, or, something to be made fun about.No big deal.

Tord picked up a pack of large white band-aids. The rectangle ones, he remembered them from when he scraped his knee. Paul placed it on him as pat cooed and sang to calm down a shaken 9 year old Tord.

tom was upset, but also a bit happy?

It was worth revealing his eyes to find out what happened to Tord, but it was also terrible when he found out what happened? who was Somber? What happened to Somber? Is Tord Okay? Is the wound deep? Was blood loss? why would he do that?

DevilBoi: He tried to cut my hair.

Tom was upset, Edd had asked the same question in the gc, and now that the answer was out, he didnt like it. When he saw Tords hair out in the morning, he liked it. Some part of him found it...

Tom felt his face redden, and pushed away the thought.

BlueBird: But your okay, right?

DevilBoi:I didnt bleed out and die, so I guess im okay.

Tom and Tord both gave a small smile.

'Everything is okay.'

Hey! just wanna make sure everyone is reading in order, theres atleast 100 of views, but ive seen that one chapter would have 13, the next 11, and the next, 13, so either thats a gitch, or some of you are unconsciously skipping chapters.
