she sat on the bed with that card in her hands to check it out what was it..
She slowly opened it....
She read it  .... Something was written in it in italics....

" You mean  the world to me ...my love..."
She chuckled reading it and something was written on the other side of the card.....

" So my dear Shanaya ,
           WILL YOU BE MY BETTER HALF ?"

Her hands started to shiver...her eyes filled with tears....
Unstoppable tears rolled down from her eyes in happiness....
She smiled looking at  it and cried.....
She was on cloud nine...
She wished to jump out in excitement...she felt like she wants to dance right now...
She placed that card close to her chest and cried ...
He felt goosebumps all over her body...
She looked towards the bathroom to check whether rishi came back....

She wished to hug him tightly and kiss him passionately and yell a big yes to him when he came out of bathroom....
She waited for him....

She felt goosebumps arise from her toe wnd slowly spreading all over her body...she felt happy that her new feelings giving her goosebumps but suddenly it turned to numb.....
It got stuck on her lower abdomen...
Was it really goosebumps...???
Yes..but...she didn't realise that's not goosebumps ....it's labor pain ....

Suddenly she felt a Sharp pain inside her lower abdomen...
She held her baby bump tightly ....
She closed her eyes and the card in her hand dropped down....

Just then rishi came out of bathroom in formal shirt and pants... and he saw Shanaya sitting on the bed...
She smiled and slowly went towards her...

" Aahhhhhhh!!!" He heard her cry which made him ran towards her....

" Shanaya" he held her hands....and soothed her back....
Unstoppable tears came from her eyes....

" Maaa...." He called out

Rishi didn't know what to do...
He too cried seeing her in pain....his whole body felt numb when he saw her pain ...his legs didn't move ..he sat with her by holding her as if he can't leave her..
She held his hands tightly and he  caressed her hairs and kissed her temples...

" Maaa...." He called out and hearing the noise priya came running towards their room....
She saw Shanaya crying in pain inside his arms...

" Rishi kya soch rahe ho....take her to the hospital..i think her water broke..." Priya said in panic...

" Maa..i can't see her like that ...i don't know what to do?" He said

" Pick her up rishi ..." Priya said and without thinking he took her in his arms in bridal style and ran downstairs...
Priya said Rohan to come hospital with necessary things that kept in a bag in their room....
Shanaya already knew that her delivery date was near ..so , she was well prepared...
He took the car...priya sat beside her and he rushed to the hospital...

Within minutes they reached the hospital....
Shanaya cried out loud in pain.... she was taken in a stretcher and rishi held her hands tightly....

She wished to say something to him but sound didn't came out of her mouth...
She felt like she is losing her senses...
Rishi tightly held her hands and tears made their way down through his cheeks too....

Shanaya was taken into the labour room and rishi and priya waited outside...
They saw riya came running and entering into the labour room....

After 10 minutes, Riya came out with a dull face .....
" Rishi..." She called

" Tell me riya...sab kuch teekh hai na" he asked...

"Rishi....that ... don't be get panik...and nothing to worry about...but... It will take more than 4 hours for the baby to come out ....and you know rishi, as usual her BP is getting higher...so in this condition we can't opt for surgery as we can't give her anesthesia....but if we let her deliver the baby normally, then she have to suffer like this for almost 4,5 hours and  it will be difficult to save both...we can only save either Shanaya or the baby.... dono Mein se sirf ek ko hi zinda milega"  riya said as her eyes turned moist....

Rishi got shocked to the core hearing her statement...he stood there like a statue..tears formed in his eyes....

" What did you said" he asked emotionless...

" We are trying out best rishi...I'm just saying a possibility..." She said...

" And I...I..will surely try my best to save your..ch.. child...." Riya's voice trembled as she can't lose her friend...but according to riya,rishi gives importance to his baby which is actually not...

" What the hell are you saying riya....!!!!!!!!" He yelled at the top of the voice...

Everyone present  there  at hospital looked at him ....
Priya held his shoulders...he looked around and controlled...
Riya got shocked seeing rishi like that...

" You will save my child...then what about my wife...? I want my wife.. I don't know what will you do or how...but I want my wife alive..I want to see her alive ..... I'm telling you riya that I want my Shanaya back....i want my wife back....you get that?" He almost yelled and ordered her

Riya got shocked to the core hearing such words from him....
She got surprised hearing him representing Shanaya as " my wife " and " my Shanaya" ....

" Rishi...don't get upset...look I can understand your feelings.. please stay calm.. I'll try my best..." She said

" No...no one ....no one can't understand my feelings  ....what I'm feeling now... nobody knows it...." He cried and sat on the wodden bench there...

Priya sat beside him and consoled him...
Riya went inside the labour room and they could hear her painful cry....
Rishi closed his eyes tightly....

" So now my son wants her right...?now my rishi wants her...then why did you hurt her beta...why did you hurt her by making her your child's surrogate mother"

Rishi opened his eyes in shock..he looked at the owner of the voice who said that and it was none other than his mother, priya..
and looked at his mother in shock and she looked at him with eyes filled with tears.....

" Why are you looking like this rishi...I'm your maa... I know everything... yes I know that Shanaya is not my daughter in law legally but she is just your child's surrogate mother" priya said with teary eyes... looking into her son's eyes....
