Sky's P.O.V.

The Next Day

I pull up outside Zoe's apartment to pick her up for college. She hops into the car, greeting me with a wide smile. "Hello, my boyfriend. Did you miss me?"

Miss her? It's only been a few hours since we parted ways last night, but it feels like an eternity. I want her to stay with me now.

"Miss you? Not at all," I answer in a teasing tone, starting the car and hitting the road. "You drove me crazy last night, making me snap thousands of photos of you."

She frowns at me. "That's how you greet your girlfriend, Sky? No kiss, no hug, just start teasing her, hmm?" She raises her brows at me.

I chuckle, pulling her cheeks. "No, that's how I greet my Trouble."

Her frown deepens, and she sits back, folding her arms across her chest. "You're so bad." Her lips purse into an angry pout.

Our teasing and banter are the best parts of our relationship—something that has always been there between us, but now it's laced with deeper affection.

"Alright, Trouble." I pull the car over to the side of the road and unbuckle my seatbelt. "Come here." I open my arms, and as she raises an eyebrow at me, I gesture for her to come into my arms.

A wide grin spreads across her face as she comes into my embrace. I laugh, hugging her firmly.

"Now happy?" I ask, pulling away slightly and gently brushing her hair away from her face.

"More than happy," she answers, her eyes sparkling with affection.

As I continue to drive, she rests her hand on my thigh, instantly arousing me with her touch.

I glance at her hand and then back at the road. "Do you want to be late to college, Zoe?"

She giggles, shaking her head. "No, I'm just touching my boyfriend," she replies, her fingers teasingly tapping against my leg.

I let out a low chuckle, keeping my eyes on the road. "You know exactly what you're doing, don't you?"

Zoe leans back in her seat, her playful smile never fading. "I know, and I love to tease you."

I shake my head, amused by her antics. This playful side of Zoe is one of the things I love most about her.

"You know, it was my fantasy to touch my boyfriend like this while he drives." As she tells me this, I let out a laugh.

"My dear girlfriend, you're unbelievable," I remark, glancing at her through the corner of my eye.

It feels surreal, being with her like this, calling her my girlfriend. She's always been my best friend, my trouble, but now she's so much more.

We arrive at the college parking lot, and I find a spot to park. After turning off the engine, I turn to her, my heart racing. "Zoe, I've been thinking... I can't stand being apart from you, not even for a second. Will you move in with me?"

Her eyes light up with surprise and joy. "Yes, of course! I would love to move in with you, Sky." She gives me a quick kiss on the lips.

As she pulls away, I grab her hair and capture her lips in a passionate kiss.

"I can't wait to live with you, Trouble," I murmur against her lips before pulling away, and she grins.

As we step out of the car, I say, "So we'll go to your apartment to pick up your stuff after college."

She grins. "I'm already feeling butterflies in my stomach, Sky."

I laugh at her response before walking toward the entrance, taking her hand in mine. As we enter the campus, I notice the way people look at us, curious and gossiping. They're used to seeing us together, but after my kiss at the party, it must have set tongues wagging. Now, the way we interact, the way we look at each other—it's clear something has changed between us.

We walk through the campus, hand in hand, and I feel a surge of pride. Zoe is mine, and I want the world to know it.

As we stop outside the classroom, I turn toward her. "See you after college. Now I have to go for match practice."

"I'll miss you." She pecks my cheek before heading inside. A smile flashes on my face, and I trace my fingers over my cheek.

At match practice, Alex starts teasing me the moment he sees me. "Well, well, look who's got the girlfriend glow," he chuckles, bouncing the ball in front of him.

I roll my eyes but can't hide the smile that creeps onto my face. "Shut up, Alex."

He chuckles, walking over to me. "I'm serious, man. You look different. Happier. So, you finally got Zoe, huh?"

I nod, grinning. "Yeah, finally she is all mine."

Alex places his hand on my back. "Congrats, bro. I knew from the beginning you two were going to become a couple. You've always been obsessed with each other."

"Yeah," I admit, nodding. "She's always been on my mind—from the beginning, first as a best friend, and now as a girlfriend. I feel complete with her, man."

"You're insane, dude," he says with a laugh.

"Yes, she drives me insane," I reply with a smile, my mind wandering to thoughts of Zoe: how beautiful she looked today in casual jeans and a top, like always.

As we begin our warm-up drills, my thoughts drift back to Zoe. The way she looked at me this morning, the way her hand felt on my thigh, her smile—it all plays in my mind, making me eager to see her again.

Damn! Only she can drive me insane like this.

"Hey, Sky!" Alex's voice snaps me out of my reverie. "You're daydreaming. Focus, man."

I nod, trying to push thoughts of Zoe to the back of my mind. But it's so fucking hard. Every movement, every breath, seems to remind me of her. She's imprinted on my mind.
