Nighttime,at a park...

Todoroki's POV

I take a walk around this small park by myself. I see a bench and sit on it,letting out a long tired sigh.

Today was a very tiring day.

I look up and gaze the starry sky. The stars are glimmering brightly like my heterochromatic eyes.

Cold breeze blow up gently. This feel so familiar with Mother's touch.

Mother...I miss her. It's still Monday and I can only see her on Sunday.

I sighed. I want to see her so bad. I rest myself and recall all of my sweet memories with my mother and my friends.

Friends...I never expected to have some. I mean,I had always thought that I don't need friends in my life. Because I can't trust anyone.

But Midoriya changed my life
He made me realized about who I truly am. Because of him,I can meet Mother again,without feeling guilty or scared of her.

We both become friends and after the Hero Killer's incident, I think we've became much closer than before.

I just heard he and Bakugou had fight in the middle of night,when everyone is already sleeping. And Bakugou now had stop bullying him. Midoriya is really amazing.

Wighout I realizing,a happy smile tugs on my soft lips. I never smile very often. I am surprised myself too.

Midoriya really changes my entire life...

I activate my left side to lit up some fire to warm myself. It is so cold tonight.

My heart feels as warm as this burning flame. It melts my cold heart and warms me with overwhelming emotion and feelings.

I suddenly feel an intimidating presence. I quickly get up and look around me.

No one is here except me...but what's this feeling?

I sharpen my eyes and focus on my surroundings. I know there is someone else beside me here in this small park.

I feel somone taps ny shoulder and I quickly turn my back and distance myself from this person. My eyes go wide when I see this person's figure.

He-He is Dabi from League of Villains!

I position myself in fighting stance. Dabi chuckles and smiles at me. "Being alert,huh?" He says and smiles at me again.

"What do you want,villain?!" I yell and is about to activate my Quirk when Dabi suddenly grips my wrist. "Listen,I'm not here to fight." He explains his intention but like I will believe!

"Liar." I say and glare at him. "You're one scary chick." He chuckles again and suddenly becomes quiet. Our eyes meet and I gaze into his turquoise eyes.

His eyes...are full of sadness...and pains...

He looks so sad...he looks like he has been through many hardships and sufferings.

The same as me...
He has the same eyes as I did in the past...

I don't fight back or struggle which is surprising. "I'm just here to talk.That's all." Dabi speaks up,breaking the silence atmosphere. "Are you willing to listen to me?" Dabi asks,his voice fulls of hope. I don't say anything and just nod. Dabi smiles slightly.

He lets me go and walks to the bench that I sat on just now."Come on." He invites me since I am still hesitated to go.

Should I trust him? It can be he is just pretending and then kidnaps me. But he seems decent...

I sit next to him but I distance myself a bit fron him. Dabi notices and chuckles. "Are you scared of me?" He asks but I remain silent.

Dabi suddenly becomes quiet again. He looks up the starry sky. "It's so peaceful tonight..." He says and smiles slightly.

"If you're here to monolog then I think I should leave." I tell him,feeling a bit annoyed. I get up and am about to leave the park when I feel a strong hand gripping my wrist. "Wait...please stay..." He begs. I sigh and sit back.

"You know what? Being a villain is hard." He starts a conversation. "Then why did you become one?" I ask him.

Dabi turns his head to face me and stares at me,long."I have no choice..." He answers.

"My father is a hero...but he never acted like one...whenever he came home, he would abuse me and my mother until she died..." His story shocks me.

Father...hero...abuse...
His story somewhat resembles me...

Wait,don't be fool,Shoto!

He is trying to deceive you!

But...

"I...." I am speechless.

"When I was a kid,my father abused me too. He wanted me to become number one and surpassed All Might." I tell him.

Why am I telling him my past? He is a villain!

But some parts of me say...this guy is not...evil.

"My mother was actually forced to marry him. She was really depressed that one day...she poured boiling water on my left side...cause...My left side looked like that bastard." I touch my scar. Dabi looks at me. "Look like we're in the same boat." Dabi chuckles.

"So what is the benefit of being a villain?" I ask him the next question,sound more harsh. "I want to fix this broken society,of course.Heroes have stray away from the true path and I want to fix that." Dabi says bluntly.

Heroes that have stray away from the right path...sound like my old man.

I don't know why but I actually agree with his opinion.

Modern heroes today only want fame,money and power...

I feel a bit comfortable with Dabi. "Well,sorry for wasting your time,kid." Dabi gets up and walks away from me. "Wait!" I shout to my surprsie. Dabi turns his back.

"What?" He looks at me in confusion. "Can we...meet again? Here..." I ask him.

What am I doing?

Dabi looks surprise by my question but he quickly acts cool again. Dabi stares at me and chuckles. "Sure,why not?" He says,accepting my invitation. "Same time,same place,okay?" Dabi says and leave me alone in the park.

Without I realizing,my action has affected my future...

Conflict and chaos await me...
