3rd Person POV

[JP is walking by himself along a sidewalk. He keeps shaking his head]

JP: (Thoughts) I'm not going crazy. My monsters aren't coming alive. There is nothing wrong with me. There are no voices in my head. I'm completely normal.

[JP's thoughts are interrupted by Mokuba]

Mokuba: Hey, you, stop!

JP: Huh?

[Mokuba approaches JP]

Mokuba: I need you to come with me.

JP: Why exactly?

Mokuba: My brother wants to speak with you. He wants to know how you beat the King of Games.

JP: Why should I?

Mokuba: Do you even know who I am?

JP: You're Mokuba Kaiba. Your brother is Seto Kaiba. He loves Blue Eyes White Dragons. Anything else I'm missing?

Mokuba: The part where you come with me. If you don't I'll challenge you to a duel here and now.

JP: I've already dueled once today. I don't feel like doing it again.

Mokuba: Fine. I'll just get my big brother to get you himself. Honestly, though, I was hoping you would duel. I would like to see how good you are.

[JP stops walking]

JP: You really love your brother, don't you?

Mokuba: Yeah.

JP: Fine. I'll duel you. Brother to brother.

[JP and Mokuba get set to duel. They activate their duel disks]

Mokuba: Alright! Let's do this!

JP: It's time to duel!

Turn 1- JP

JP-8000 LP/Mokuba-8000 LP

JP: I'll start. My turn. I play the spell card: Dark Magic Curtain! By paying half my LP I can summon to the field my most trusted ally! Come forth, Dark Magician!

JP-8000 LP - - - 4000 LP

Dark Magician: Level 7- 2500 ATK/ 2100 DEF

[Dark Magician appears. He nods to JP]

JP: I also place a monster face down in DEF Mode. Turn end.

Turn 2- Mokuba

JP-4000 LP/Mokuba-8000 LP

Mokuba: Paying half your LP just to summon one monster? You must be desperate!

JP: He's no monster.

[JP's eyes glow for a second]

JP: He's my best friend and I'll do anything to protect him and he does the same for me.

Mokuba: My brother would think that is pathetic. He doesn't believe in the Heart of the Cards. Enough talk. My turn. I draw. I place a monster face down in DEF Mode and card face down and end my turn.

Turn 3- JP

JP-4000 LP/Mokuba-8000 LP

JP: My turn. I draw. I play another Dark Magic Curtain and as you saw before brings out another Dark Magician!

JP-4000 LP - - - 2000 LP

[Dark Magician appears]

Mokuba: You have two Dark Magicians?

JP: Only a fool has only one copy of a card in his deck.

Mokuba: You're running out of ideas!

JP: Not quite. Next turn they'll become something more powerful but that will just have to wait because of Dark Magic Curtain I can't summon anymore monsters this turn. It won't matter though. I play the spell: Dark Magic Attack. When I have a Dark Magician on my field I can play this spell card which destroys all your face downs.

Mokuba: No!

JP: Battle. Dark Magician, attack his face down monster! Dark Magic Attack!

Mokuba: No!

[Dark Magician destroys a monster which was Man Eating Plant]

Man Eating Plant: Level 2- 800 ATK/ 600 DEF

JP: Now, second Dark Magician, attack him directly! Dark Magic Attack!

Mokuba: Ahh!

Mokuba:8000 LP - - - 5500 LP

JP: Turn end.

Turn 4- Mokuba

JP-2000 LP/Mokuba-5500 LP

Mokuba: Urk. My turn. I draw. I play the spell card: Mark of the Rose! By banishing one of my plant monsters from the Graveyard, I can take control during my turn one of your Dark Magicians!

JP: How dare you!

[JP's eyes start to glow]

JP: You keep your hands off him!

Mokuba: Well, he's mine for this turn. Dark Magician, attack his face down! Dark Magic Attack!

[Dark Magician destroys JP's face down monster which was Magician's Robe]

Magician's Robe: Level 2- 700 ATK/ 2000 DEF

Mokuba: I place one monster face down in DEF Mode and end my turn.

Turn 5- JP

JP-2000 LP/Mokuba-5500 LP

JP: My turn. Draw. I hoped you enjoyed having my Dark Magician for a turn because that isn't happening again! I summon Skilled White Magician in ATK Mode!

Skilled White Magician: Level 4- 1700 ATK/ 1900 DEF

JP: I now play the spell: Swords of Revealing Light! Now you can't attack for three turns!

[Light Swords surround Mokuba's side of the field]

JP: Since I played a spell card my magician gets a spell counter.

Mokuba: You're not impressing me.

JP: I'm not? How about now? I now overlay my two Level 7 Dark Magicians! With these two monsters I build the Overlay Network! I XYZ Summon! Come forth! Rank 7! Ebon Illusion Magician!

Mokuba: What's happening? You must be cheating! My brother doesn't know how to summon like this!

Ebon Illusion Magican: Rank 7: 2500 ATK/ 2100 DEF

JP: Well that's too bad. Now that spell card is now worthless! I'm not done! I activate the special ability of my Ebon Illusion Magician! By using one Overlay Unit I can summon from my deck my third and final Dark Magician!

[The third Dark Magician appears]

JP: Battle. Dark Magician, attack! Dark Magic Attack! Now the special ability of my Ebon Illusion Magician activates. When my Dark Magician attacks it can banish one card on your field! I choose your DEF monster!

Mokuba: No! Now I'm wide open!

JP: That's correct! Now he can continue his attack! Go, Dark Magician! Dark Magic Attack!

Mokuba: Ahh!

Mokuba-5500 LP - - - 3000 LP

JP: Skilled White Magician, attack Mokuba directly!

Mokuba: Ahh!

Mokuba-3000 LP - - - 1300 LP

JP: Ebon Illuison Magician, attack him directly and end this duel!

Mokuba: Ahh!

Mokuba-1300 LP - - - 0 LP

Winner: JP

[JP approaches Mokuba and helps him up]

Mokuba: You're the real deal. Too bad my brother won't ever meet you. I lost so I guess you don't have to see him.

JP: No. I'll come.

Mokuba: Why?

JP: Because I'm a little brother too. I understand what it's like to have an older brother.

[Mokuba looks at JP in amazement]

JP: Well, are you going to lead me?

Mokuba: Oh yeah. We'll take the Kaiba Copter.

JP: Obviously he has a helicopter named after him.
