3rd Person POV

[There is a new professor named Professor Viper. Everyone is gathered in the auditorium as he explains the new bio bands. Everyone is skeptical but do as they're told]

JP: Partner, can you tell me what these are about.

Masked Boy: Professor Viper is trying to bring out Yubel. He lost his child in an accident. He is trying to harness all the energy to bring Yubel.

JP: Does it work?

Yubel: It does but at a price. You must be ready to face me.

JP: I'll be fine. I'll have my partner there.

Masked Boy: Things are really easy the second time around. Right, Yubel?

Yubel: Definitely.

[It is night time so JP decides to go visit Celina. As he enters the dorm room, Blair comes running to him]

Blair: Thank goodness you're here.

JP: What's wrong?

Blair: Celina is with you, right?

JP: No. I was coming to see her.

Blair: Oh no.

JP: What?

Blair: Celina has been missing for over an hour!

JP: What? Where could she be?

[Syrus, Jesse, and Hassleberry walk in]

JP: Have you guys seen where Celina is?

Hassleberry: No. I haven't, sarge.

JP: Urk. No one messes with Celina!

Celina POV

[I'm dangling by a rope that's tied around which is connected some type of mechanism. In front of me is Axel Brodie]

Celina: Why are you doing this?

Axel: To lure your boyfriend out.

Celina: If you wanted to duel so bad then you should've just dueled me.

Axel: Sorry, but you're not my target.

Celina: JP will make you pay for taking me.

Axel: Of course. That's why I took you. You seem to be more important to him then anyone else.

[I blush a little but now isn't the time for that]

3rd Person POV

[The duel spirit, Ruby, leads the whole group to where Celina and Axel are. JP arrives first and sees the situation]

JP: What are you doing? Leave her alone!

Axel: Not until you duel me first.

JP: That's not happening.

Axel: Oh it will unless you want to see your girlfriend plunge to her death.

Hassleberry: You don't really have a choice, sarge.

Jesse: Don't worry. You got this. While you two are dueling, we'll find a way to break her free.

Axel POV

[This is nothing personal, JP. Viper is behind this. He wants you to use all your energy for some experiment he's doing. I was told to push you to your limit. So I need to drag this duel out as long as I can]

3rd Person POV

Axel: Now, I want to see those Pendulum Cards.

JP: Sorry but I don't duel with those anymore. I basically only fusion now.

Axel: I will not take that as an answer. Duel with me with those Pendulum Cards. I want to see you use them. I want to see all those other summoning techniques! If you don't, then your girlfriend takes a swim.

Masked Boy: Partner, we don't have any other option.

JP: Let's make him sorry for messing with us.

[There is a bright, blinding light. When it disappears, JP has switched places with the Masked Boy. The Masked Boy has a scowl on his face]

Masked Boy: You want it, Axel? You got it!

Axel: Why do I get the feeling that you're not the same person?

Masked Boy: Viper is watching. He doesn't need to know.

Axel: How do you know about that?

Masked Boy: I know a lot of things. Now, shall we get started?

[Axel pulls out a gun which turns into a duel disk]

Axel: I'm ready for you.

[The Masked Boy activates his duel disk and his eyes begin to glow]

Masked Boy: No one messes with Celina! No one! Get set to get your game on!

Turn 1-Masked Boy

Masked Boy-8000 LP/Axel-8000 LP

Masked Boy: I'll go first. I place two cards face down. I place Odd Eyes Pendulum Dragon in my Pendulum Zone. Turn end. That activates the special ability of my Odd Eyes in my Pendulum Zone. By sending it to the extra deck, I can add Timegazer Magician to my hand.

Turn 2-Axel

Masked Boy-8000 LP/Axel-8000 LP

Axel: My turn. I draw. I activate my spell: Blaze Accelerator. I then send it to the Graveyard to activate the spell: Tri-Blaze Accelerator. I now activate the spell: Pot of Duality. I draw the top three cards of my deck, choose one, and then shuffle the others back into my deck. I summon Fire Trooper in ATK Mode.

Fire Trooper: 1000 ATK/ 1000 DEF

Axel: Now it will attack you directly!

Masked Boy: Trap card, open: Scrap Iron Scarecrow! This card negates your trap and then goes back to summoning position!

Axel: A trap that stays?

Masked Boy: Exactly.

Axel: I place one card face down and end my turn.

Masked Boy: I place Timegazer Magician and Odd Eyes Pendulum Dragon in my Pendulum Zone. I'm now allowed to summon monsters between Levels 5 and 7 all at the same time. Pendulum Summon! Welcome back, Odd Eyes!

Odd Eyes Pendulum Dragon: Scale 4: Level 7- 2500 ATK/ 2000 DEF

Axel: You summoned a Level 7 monster just like that? Didn't that monster go to the Graveyard? Also, you have two of the same monster?

Masked Boy: Pendulum Monsters don't go to the Graveyard. They go to the Extra Deck. Also only a fool only has one copy of card in his deck. I now summon Dragonpulse Magician in ATK Mode!

Dragonpulse Magician: Scale 1: Level 4- 1800 ATK/ 900 DEF

Masked Boy: Battle. When I have Timegazer Magician in my Pendulum Zone, you can't activate any spell or trap cards!

Axel: What?

Masked Boy: Odd Eyes, attack his Fire Trooper! Spiral Flame Strike! When Odd Eyes deals battle damage involving a monster, it doubles! Reaction Force!

Axel: I activate my spell: Wild fire. I pay 500 LP to destroy all monsters on the field. I then get a Wild Fire Token.

Axel: 8000 LP - - - 7500 LP

Masked Boy: Saved yourself there. Not bad. It won't help you in the end. Turn end. I activate the special ability of my Odd Eyes in my Pendulum Zone. By sending it to the Extra Deck, I can add Stargazer Magician to my hand.

Turn 4-Axel

Masked Boy-8000 LP/Axel-7500 LP

Axel: (Thoughts) He's preparing to Pendulum Summon. I need to make this turn count. (Out loud) My turn. I draw. I summon Volcanic Slicer in ATK Mode!

Volcanic Slicer: Level 4: 1800 ATK/ 1200 DEF

Axel: Now my token will attack you directly!

Masked Boy: Trap card, open: Scrap Iron Scarecrow! I negate your attack!

Axel: Urk. Volcanic Slicer, pick up where it left off.

Masked Boy: I activate my second trap: Scrap Iron Scarecrow! I negate your attack!

Axel: You have two of those on the field?

Masked Boy: Yep.

Axel: Urk. I end my turn.

Turn 5-Masked Boy

Masked Boy-8000 LP/Axel-7500 LP

Masked Boy: You should've left those monsters in DEF Mode. Now you'll pay the price. My turn. Draw. I use Scale 1 Stargazer Magician and Scale 8 Timegazer Magician to set the Pendulum Scale! I'm taking control of this duel starting now!

Axel: Here it comes!

Masked Boy: I can now summon monsters between Levels 2 and 7 all at the same time! Swing far, Pendulum! Carve the Arc of Victory! My monsters are ready to swing into action! Welcome back my two Odd Eyes and Dragonpulse Magician. Welcome to the duel, Flamvell Magician!

Flamvell Magician: Level 4- 1400 ATK/ 200 DEF

Axel: Four monsters at once?

Masked Boy: Yes and it isn't going to get any better for you. I tune my Level 4 Flamvell Magician and my Level 4 Dragonpulse Magician! Clustering wishes will become a new shining star! Become the path its light shines upon! Synchro Summon! Take flight, Stardust Dragon!

Stardust Dragon: Level 8- 2500 ATK/ 2000 DEF

Axel: What's a Synchro summon?

Masked Boy: I'm not telling you. Battle. When I have these two monsters in my Pendulum Zone and a Pendulum Monster battles, you can't activate any spell or trap cards. Odd Eyes, attack his flame token! Spiral Flame Strike! When Odd Eyes deals battle damage involving a monster, it doubles! Reaction Force!

Axel: Ahh!

Masked Boy: Second Odd Eyes, attack his Volcanic Slicer!

Axel: Ahh!

Masked Boy: Stardust Dragon, attack him directly! Shooting Sonic!

Axel: Ahh!

Masked Boy: I end my Battle Phase. I summon Flamvell Guard in ATK Mode!

Flamvell Guard: Level 1- 100 ATK/ 2000 DEF

Axel: You're still summoning monsters?

Masked Boy: Yes and I'm about to do it one more time. I tune my Level 1 Flamvell Guard with my Level 7 Odd Eyes Pendulum Dragon! The ruler's heartbeats will now file through here! Take witness to its creation-shaking power! Synchro Summon! My very soul, Red Dragon Archfiend!

Red Dragon Archfiend: Level 8- 3000 ATK/ 2000 DEF

Masked Boy: Turn end. Make this next turn count, Axel because it will be your last.

Turn 6-Axel

Masked Boy-8000 LP/Axel-600 LP

Axel: Urk. My turn. I draw. I place one card face down and end my turn.

Turn 7-Masked Boy

Masked Boy-8000 LP/Axel-600 LP

Masked Boy: This is the end. My turn. Draw. That face down card won't help you thanks to my Pendulum Monsters. Battle. Odd Eyes, attack him directly and end this duel! Spiral Flame Strike!

Axel: Ahh!

Axel-600 LP - - - 0 LP

[Axel passes out once the duel finishes. JP and the Masked Boy switch places. Hassleberry, Jesse, and Syrus had already gotten Celina down before the duel ended. Celina immediately runs over to JP and plants a kiss on him. The other boys look on]

Syrus: So we get her out while he has fun dueling and then he gets all the credit! Am I the only one here who feels that this is unfair?

Hassleberry: I feel the same. JP gets all the girls.

Jesse: I can see why but that doesn't make me feel any better.

[JP smiles at Celina]

JP: I told you that I get you out.

Celina: I thought you didn't have those Pendulum Cards anymore.

JP: They only show up when I need them to. Anyway. Celina, I just wanted to say that I love...

[JP then passes out after the duel. Celina screams and shakes him. The whole group take him to the hospital wing]

Yubel: It has begun, JP (Original).

Masked Boy: It certainly has.
