3rd Person POV

[A certain Masked Boy wonders the streets of the Standard Dimension. In his hand he holds a pendant from the Leo Institute. He is here to find a way to take down the Fusion Dimension. Meanwhile, Zuzu is walking on the sidewalks. She sees some of the bullies that took away Yuya's Pendulum Cards]

Bully #1: Did you hear Sylivo wants revenge on JP for what he did?

Bully #2: I did but we should hurry and deliver Sylvio's lunch.

Zuzu: (Thoughts) I need to follow them. They will not mess with JP. He saved me and now it's time for me to return the favor!

[Sylvio is eating pie in his hideout. Zuzu confronts him]

Sylvio: Who are you and why are you here?

Zuzu: My name is Zuzu. I'm a friend of JP. I heard that you want payback on JP but I won't let that happen!

Sylvio: Trying to protect your boyfriend?

Zuzu: He's not my boyfriend! He's just my best friend! Anyway. I won't let you hurt JP. So duel me right here and now instead.

Sylvio: I'm sorry but you're not worth my time.

Zuzu: What's wrong? You chicken?

Sylvio: I'm no chicken!

Zuzu: That's right because that would be insulting to a chicken!

Sylvio: Fine. Have it your way.

[Sylvio and Zuzu get set to duel when some noise is heard. Inside walks the Masked Boy]

Masked Boy: Actually, you'll be dueling me.

Sylvio: Great. Now who are you?

Masked Boy: I'll be the one asking the questions but first I'll beat you in a duel.

Zuzu: Hey! I can fight my own battles.

[The Masked Boy looks at Zuzu]

Masked Boy: Lulu, how did you escape from Duel Academy?

Zuzu: Huh? What are you talking about?

Masked Boy: Sorry. You just look a lot like someone I know.

Sylvio: Excuse me! I thought we were about to duel! Let's get on with it!

[Sylvio activates his duel disk. The Masked Boy activates his duel disk]

Masked Boy: Time to feel the flow.

Turn 1-Masked Boy

Masked Boy-8000 LP/Sylvio-8000 LP

Masked Boy: I'll go first. My turn. I summon Gagaga Girl in ATK Mode!

Gagaga Girl: Level 3- 1000 ATK/ 800 DEF

Zuzu: She's so cute!

Masked Boy: Don't stroke her ego.

Sylvio: She really is!

Masked Boy: Sorry. She has a boyfriend. Now I activate the special ability of my Gagaga Child in my hand. When I have a Gagaga Monster on the field, I can special summon this boy from my hand.

Gagaga Child: Level 2- 800 ATK/ 1200 DEF

Masked Boy: When this monster is special summoned, it can become the same Level as another Gagaga Monster on the field. So Gagaga Child is now Level 3.

Gagaga Child: Level 2 - - - Level 3

Masked Boy: I now overlay my Level 3 Gagaga Girl and Child to build the Overlay Network! I XYZ Summon! Come on out, Number 17: Leviathan Dragon!

Number 17: Rank 3: Leviathan Dragon- 2000 ATK/ 0 DEF

Masked Boy: I now activate its special ability. By using one Overlay Unit, my monster gains 500 ATK

Sylvio: Impressive. Now it's my turn. I draw! I activate the field spell: Divine Wind of Mist Valley! Now I summon Yosenju Kama 3. This monster's special ability allows me to special summon Yosenju Kama 2 in ATK Mode.

Yosenju Kama 2: Level 4- 1800 ATK/ 200

Sylvio: Both of these monsters return to my hand after this turn. Now I will attack! Yosenju Kama 2 can attack you directly but you take half the damage!

Masked Boy: Hmph.

Masked Boy-8000 LP - - - 7100 LP

Sylvio: Now both of my monsters return to my hand. This activates my field spell. Once per turn, if a WIND monster I control is returned to my hand, I can special summon 1 Level 4 or lower monster from my deck. I special summon another Yosenju Kama 2! I end my turn.

Turn 3-Masked Boy

Masked Boy: My turn. Draw. I summon Gogogo Giant in ATK Mode.

Gogogo Giant: Level 4- 2000 ATK/ 0 DEF

Masked Boy: Battle. Leviathan Dragon, attack his DEF monster. Shock Stream Blast!

Sylvio: Hmph.

Masked Boy: Turn end.

Zuzu: Wait! Why didn't you attack him directly?

Masked Boy: It's strategy.

Turn 4-Sylvio

Sylvio: My turn. I draw. I activate the spell: Guarded Treasure. I discard 5 cards, and then draw 2 instead of my normal draw. I place one monster face down in DEF Mode and another card face down and end my turn.

Turn 5-Masked Boy

Masked Boy: My turn. Draw. I summon V Salamander in ATK Mode.

V Salamander: Level 4- 1500 ATK/ 1300 DEF

Masked Boy: I now Overlay my Level 4 Gogogo Giant and V Salamander to build the Overlay Network! I am feeling the flow like you would not believe! I'm high-fiving the sky baby! I'm not just in the zone, there's like, another zone inside the zone and that's the zone I'm in! Now check me out as I XYZ Summon Number 39: Utopia!

Number 39: Utopia: Rank 4: 2500 ATK/ 2000 DEF

Zuzu: What is with the Numbers in these monsters?

Masked Boy: I'm not finished. I rebuild the Overlay Network with Utopia! I will now turn Utopia into a Chaos XYZ Monster!

Sylvio: What?

Masked Boy: Go Chaos XYZ Evolution! Come and show your magnificent might! Chaos Number 39: Utopia Ray!

Sylvio: What's so special about this monster? It's just like your other monster with a paint job.

Masked Boy: It's rude to interrupt. I now activate the special ability of my ZW Unicorn Spear. I can equip it to my Utopia and it gains 1900 ATK

Sylvio: What?

Zuzu: No way!

Chaos Number 39: Utopia Ray- 2500 ATK - - - 4400 ATK

Sylvio: Unbelievable!

Masked Boy: Believe it. Battle. Leviathan Dragon, attack his face down monster! Shock Stream Blast!

Sylvio: I activate my trap! Waboku! This saves my monster and I take no damage!

Masked Boy: Turn end.

Turn 6-Sylvio

Masked Boy-7100 LP/Sylvio-8000 LP

Sylvio: My turn. I draw. I place one card face down. I activate my spell: Guarded Treasure. I now draw two cards. I activate the spell: Card of Demise. I draw three cards but at the end of my turn must discard my entire hand. I end my turn and empty my hand.

Turn 7-Masked Boy

Masked Boy-7100 LP/Sylvio-8000 LP

Masked Boy: My turn. Draw. I activate the special ability of my ZW Phoenix Bow from my hand. I can equip it to Utopia and it gains 1100 ATK.

Sylvio: What?

Zuzu: No way!

Chaos Number 39: Utopia Ray- 4400 LP - - - 5500 LP

Masked Boy: Battle. Leviathan Dragon, attack and destroy his DEF monster! Shock Stream Blast!

Sylvio: No! I'm wide open!

Masked Boy: Utopia, attack him directly! Rising Sun Chaos Slash!

Sylvio: Ahh!

Sylvio-8000 LP - - - 2500 LP

[The impact of the attack is huge. The Masked Boy protects Zuzu. A rock hits his mask shattering one of the eyes]

Sylvio: That attack felt so real!

Zuzu: But there is no system in here!

Masked Boy: Turn end.

Turn 8-Sylvio

Masked Boy-7100 LP/Sylvio-2500 LP

Sylvio: I now activate my spell card which allows me to draw two cards. I now activate a spell: Pot of Duality! This spell allows me to draw three cards, choose one, and shuffle the other two into my deck. I now place a monster face down in DEF Mode and end my turn. This is all I can do.

Turn 9-Masked Boy

Masked Boy-7100 LP/Sylivo-2500 LP

Masked Boy: Time to end this. My turn. Draw. Battle. Leviathan Dragon, attack his face down monster! Shock Stream Blast!

Sylvio: This is going to hurt!

Masked Boy: Before I call my final attack...

[The Masked Boy shows the Pendant]

Masked Boy: You where one of these do you not?

Sylvio: Yes?

Masked Boy: Tell me the connection that you have with Duel Academy!

Sylvio: Duel Academy? What is that? A place? A thing? All I know is that every student at the Leo Institute has a pendant like that! As far as Duel Academy is concerned, I don't know what you're talking about!

Masked Boy: You're no use to me. Get ready for my final attack!

Sylvio: Wait! Can we talk about a truce?

Masked Boy: No. I'm finishing this. Utopia, attack him directly! Rising Sun Chaos Slash!

Sylvio: Ahh!

Sylvio-2500 LP - - - 0 LP

Winner: Masked Boy

[Sylvio remains on the ground as his friends try to pick him up]

Zuzu: Who are you?

[The Masked Boy removes his mask to reveal JP (XYZ)]

Zuzu: Huh? What's going on, JP? Why are you dressed like that?

[Before he answers, JP (Original) calls out to Zuzu]

JP (Original): Zuzu! Are you okay?

JP (XYZ): JP (Original)? JP (Original), I need to talk to you!

[Suddenly, Zuzu's bracelet begins to glow which causes JP (XYZ) to vanish]

JP: Zuzu, I'm glad you're okay.

Zuzu: I am thanks to you.

JP: What are you talking about? I just got here!

Zuzu: (Thoughts) Then who was the person who looked just like JP?

[JP and Zuzu leave the hideout. Zuzu walks in confusion]
