[Tonight, was the night. Yusei was going to escape to New Domino City. He got his duel runner ready and he knew he was going to get his revenge on Jack. He gets his things and prepare to leave. He is then stopped by the Blue Eyes Master]

Yusei: Why are you here? You calling in that favor?

Blue Eyes Master: No. I'm going to help you get to New Domino City.

Yusei: Why are you helping me?

Blue Eyes Master: Don't ask questions. You're on a time limit.

Yusei: What's the plan?

Blue Eyes Master: Well...

[The Masked Boy approaches the two]

Masked Boy: I have a better idea.

Blue Eyes Master: Who are you?

Masked Boy: A friend. I know you have a million questions and I know your friends are watching so I know you'll have a million more after tonight. You guys are on a time crunch. This is what we're going to do.

[Timeskip. Yusei got his duel runner and prepared to leave. He got on his duel runner and started riding. Suddenly, Sector Security was onto him and they forced him into a duel. The officer was Trudge]

Trudge: You might have help before by the Blue Eyes Master but he's not here to protect you, now is he?

[Yusei doesn't respond]

Trudge: The Silent Treatment, huh? Well, after I beat you you'll be screaming for the light of day. Get set to duel.

[Meanwhile Yusei's friends watch from afar]

Riley: He doesn't have time to be dueling! He needs to shake him!

[Yusei gets ready to duel]

Yusei: Let's get this over with.

[The duel begins]

Turn 1- Trudge

Yusei-8000 LP/Trudge-8000 LP

Trudge: I'll start. My turn. I summon Stygian Street Patrol in ATK mode and end my turn. You scared yet?

Stygian Street Patrol: Level 4- 1600 ATK/ 1200 DEF

[Yusei doesn't answer]

Turn 2- Yusei

Yusei-8000 LP/Trudge-8000 LP

Yusei: My turn. Draw. I use Scale 1 Stargazer Magician and Scale 8 Timegazer Magician to set the Pendulum Scale. I'm taking control of this duel starting now!

Stargazer Magician: Scale 1- Level 5- 1200 ATK/ 2400 DEF

Timegazer Magician: Scale 8- Level 3- 1200 ATK/600 DEF

Trudge: What are you doing? What is this?

Yusei: I can now summon monsters between the Level 2 through 7 all at the same time! Swing far, Pendulum! Carve the arc of victory! My monsters are ready to swing into action! Come forth Dragonpulse Magician and Flash Knight!

Dragonpulse Magician: Scale 1- Level 4- 1800 ATK/ 900 DEF

Flash Knight: Scale 7- Level 4- 1800 ATK/ 600 DEF

Trudge: Two monsters at once? This must be against the rules!

Yusei: With these two monsters in my Pendulum Zones, when a Pendulum Monster battles you can't activate any Spell or Trap Cards!

Trudge: How am I supposed to defend myself? You haven't had this deck before! Where did you get it?

Yusei: Battle. Dragonpulse Magician, attack his monster!

[Dragonpulse Magician destroys Trudge's monster]

Trudge: Urk.

Yusei: Flash Knight, attack Trudge directly!

Trudge: Ahh!

Trudge: What's going on? Answer me! Now!

[Yusei doesn't answer]

Trudge: Fine. I'll knock the answer out of you! My turn. I draw. I summon Search Striker!

Search Striker: Level 4- 1600 ATK/ 1200 DEF

Trudge: I banish Stygian Street Patrol from my Graveyard to special summon Stygian Security.

Stygian Security: Level 1- 100 ATK/ 600 DEF

Trudge: I tune Level 1 Stygian Security with Level 4 Search Striker. I Syncro Summon! Ally of Justice Catastor!

Ally of Justice Catastor: Level 5- 2200 ATK/ 1200 DEF

Trudge: Now this monster will attack your Dragonpulse Magician! This activates its special ability. When it battles a non-DARK monster it automatically destroys it! I end my turn.

[Trudge's monster destroys the magician]

Turn 4- Yusei

Yusei: I play a face down. I use the Pendulum Scale I've already set. Pendulum Summon! Return to the field in DEF Mode, Dragonpulse Magician!

[Dragonpulse Magician returns]

Trudge: That's impossible! That monster should be in the Graveyard.

Yusei: Pendulum Monsters don't go to the Graveyard. They go to the Extra Deck. I switch Flash Knight to DEF Mode. Turn end.

Turn 5- Trudge

Trudge: Your tricks won't stop me. My turn. I draw. I summon Drillroid!

Drillroid: Level 4- 1600 ATK/ 1600 DEF

Trudge: He will attack your Magician!

Yusei: Trap Card, open: Mirror Force! Now all your monsters are destroyed!

Trudge: No! I play the spell: Shield Crush. This spell destroys one of your DEF Monsters. I choose Dragonpulse Magician. I end my turn.

Turn 6- Yusei

Yusei-8000 LP/Trudge-6000 LP

Yusei: My turn. Draw. I use the Pendulum Scale I've already set. Pendulum Summon! Return to the game, Dragonpulse Magician in ATK Mode.

[Dragonpulse Magician reappears]

Trudge: Every time I get rid of that monster he keeps bringing it back.

Yusei: I switch Flash Knight back to ATK Mode. Battle. Dragonpulse Magician and Flash Knight, attack Trudge directly!

Trudge: At the same time?

Yusei: I don't play favorites.

Trudge: Ahh!

Yusei: I play a face down. Turn end.

[Dragonpulse Magician attacks the face down monster which was Torapart]

Yusei: Flash Knight, attack him directly!

Trudge: Ahh!

Yusei: Turn end.

Trudge: I need to make this draw count! My turn. I draw! I place a monster face down in DEF Mode and end my turn.

Yusei: My turn. Draw. I summon Nobledragon Magician in ATK Mode.

Nobledragon Magician: Level 3- 700 ATK/ 1400 DEF

Yusei: I tune Level 3 Nobledragon Magician with Level 4 Dragonpulse Magician! Beat your wings to whip up a whirlwind of destruction! I Synchro Summon! Level 7! Clear Wing Synchro Dragon!

Clear Wing Synchro Dragon: Level 7- 2500 ATK/ 2000 DEF

Trudge: What dragon is that? I've never seen it before!

Yusei: I use the Pendulum Scale I've already Set!

Trudge: You can't summon again!

Yusei: Pendulum Summon! Return to the game, Dragonpulse Magician!

[Dragonpulse Magician reappears]

Trudge: You can't do this!

Yusei: I overlay Level 4 Dragonpulse Magician with Flash Knight to build the Overlay Network! Cloaked in shadows and relentless in its objective, I call upon the most dangerous of dragons! I XYZ Summon! Rank 4! Dark Rebellion XYZ Dragon!

Dark Rebellion XYZ Dragon: Rank 4- 2500 ATK/ 2000 DEF

Yusei: Battle. Clear Wing, attack his face down! Spinstorm Sky Strike!

[Clear Wing destroys the face down monster which was Gonogo]

Trudge: That activates Gonogo's special ability. It switches your monster to face down DEF Mode.

Yusei: Dark Rebellion, attack him directly and end this duel! Mauling Mandible Charge!

Trudge: Ahh!

Trudge-600 LP - - - 0 LP

Winner: Yusei

[Trudge's duel runner comes to a stop. Meanwhile, Yusei's friends saw the whole thing and were completely shocked]

Riley: Yusei was amazing! I had no idea that he had those monsters! What were those summoning techniques? I have a suspicion though that isn't Yusei.

["Yusei" comes to a stop and faces Trudge]

Riley: Why is he stopping?

["Yusei" approaches Trudge]

Trudge: You're the Blue Eyes Master, aren't you? You let Yusei escape!

[Two duel runners race by Trudge and the mysterious person]

Trudge: You'll pay Blue Eyes Master.

Mysterious Person: I'm not the Blue Eyes Master.

[The Mysterious Person removes his helmet to reveal the Masked Boy]

Masked Boy: I'm someone much worse. I should turn you into a card right now for all the evil that you've done.

Trudge: You can't turn people into cards. That's impossible!

[The Masked Boy tosses Trudge two cards that have two people trapped inside them. Trudge stares in fear. The Masked Boy starts to walk away]

Trrudge: Who are you?

Masked Boy: Someone you won't want to meet again.

[The Masked Boy's duel disk glows and disappears leaving Trudge on his knees. Meanwhile, Yusei is remembering the conversation he had with the Blue Eyes Master and the Masked Boy]

Masked Boy: I'll go in Yusei's place. I'll keep Sector Security occupied while you two race behind us and get to New Domino City.

Blue Eyes Master: That's crazy. We won't leave you behind!

Masked Boy: I have my own ways of getting around. Don't worry about me. Besides, Blue Eyes Master, you need to think about Rin and the Black Rose Witch.

Blue Eyes Master: How do you know about them?

Masked Boy: There is no time to talk. We need to hurry. I'll hold them off.

[The Masked Boy gets on his duel runner and rides away. Yusei returns to the present]

Yusei: I owe that person. Whoever he is, I'm glad he's on our side. I wouldn't have made it without him.
