[The duels continued. JP (XYZ) grew restless. He wanted a piece of the action. Sitting by just wasn't his style. Each JP counterpart had a role. The Original would do all the dueling. Fusion would hide in the shadows if anything went wrong. XYZ was the Original's back up. But by the looks of it, XYZ wasn't going to get to duel at all. This made him angry. He heard that Shay was up next to duel Dennis. This gave JP (XYZ) an idea]

JP (XYZ): Shay, let me duel Dennis.

Shay: Any reason why?

[JP (XYZ) is silent]

Shay: You know something that I don't. What is it?

JP (XYZ): I know that the Fusion JP was the one who took Lulu. He's already apologized and made up for it. But I know who helped him capture her. Dennis is from Fusion!

Shay: How do you know?

JP (XYZ): Astral told me. I always knew that Dennis was part of Fusion. Fusion JP confirmed it.

[Flashback]

JP (XYZ): I have a feeling that Dennis isn't who he says he is.

JP (Fusion): That's because he isn't.

JP (XYZ): Then who is he?

JP (Fusion): Dennis is from Fusion. Just like me. He's the one who helped me capture Lulu.

JP (XYZ): I've already forgiven you but I won't forgive him.

JP (Fusion): Don't have any mercy. I have a grudge against him too.

JP (XYZ): What did he do?

JP (Fusion): He messed with Celina. No one messes with Celina.

JP (XYZ): You really care about her, huh?

JP (Fusion): Just like you care about Lulu.

JP (XYZ): Why didn't you expose him?

JP (Fusion): I'm doing it for Celina's safety. If Dennis would be exposed, then the Chancellor would know that she's here and he would come and get her. I've already been branded a traitor. They would card me and I wouldn't be able to protect Celina anymore. I promised her that I'd always look after her.

JP (XYZ): I understand. What do we do?

JP (Fusion): We make him come out into the light. We expose and then we destroy.

[Flashback ended]

JP (XYZ): I have to do this, Shay. I know that she's your sister but she's my girlfriend.

Shay: I understand. Do what you have to do.

[The duel is about to begin. Dennis is on his duel runner and has already been introduced]

Melissa: We have a change in the lineup, folks! Dennis's actual opponent has fallen ill so he will have someone duel in his place. Please welcome, Mr. Mystery!

[Mr. Mystery rode his duel runner next to Dennis. All of the Lancers knew who that was. Declan watching this wasn't surprised]

Declan: Three of the four JP counterparts are dueling in this tournament.

[The duel is about to begin]

Dennis: Good luck.

[Mr. Mystery doesn't respond]

Melissa: Let's get this show on the road!

Mystery: Time to feel the flow!

Turn 1-Dennis

Mystery-8000 LP/Dennis-8000 LP

Dennis: I'll go first if you don't mind. My turn. I summon Magical Exemplar in ATK Mode!

Magical Exemplar: Level 4- 1700 ATK/ 1400 DEF

Dennis: I end my turn with a face down. Your up, Mr. Mystery!

Melissa: Dennis sets himself up nicely.

Turn 2-Mystery

Mystery-8000 LP/Dennis-8000 LP

Mystery: My turn. Draw. I place one card face down. I summon Gogogo Ghost in ATK Mode!

Gogogo Ghost: Level 4- 1900 ATK/ 0 DEF

Dennis: I recognize that monster but I don't know from where.

Mystery: Battle. Gogogo Ghost, attack and destroy his spellcaster! Fear Strike!

Dennis: Urk. It's okay! I'm fine!

Dennis: 8000 LP - - - 7800 LP

Mystery: Turn end.

Melissa: Mr. Mystery was able to knock some LP off Dennis.

Turn 3-Dennis

Mystery-8000 LP/Dennis-7800 LP

Dennis: I don't know who you are, Mr. Mystery but I'll find out soon enough! My turn. I draw. I activate my spell: Mystical Space Typhoon. Say goodbye to your face down! Now I summon Dark Doriado in ATK Mode!

Dark Doriado: Scale 5: Level 4- 1800 ATK/ 1400 DEF

Dennis: Now I activate the spell: Spellbook of Power! This gives my monster 1000 ATK until the end of my turn.

Dark Doriado- 1800 ATK - - - 2800 ATK

Dennis: If my monster destroys one of yours, I can add another Spellbook card to my hand. Now my monster will destroy yours!

Mystery: Urk.

Mystery-8000 LP - - - 7100 LP

Dennis: Now, thanks to my spell card, I can add a Spellbook Card to my hand! I don't know who you are, Mr. Mystery, but I'm sure I'll find out.

Melissa: Dennis destroys Mr. Mystery's monster and takes away some LP.

Turn 4-Mystery

Mystery-7100 LP/Dennis-7800 LP

Mystery: My turn. Draw. I reveal the card I just drew!

Dennis: Why would you do that?

Mystery: To activate it! I drew Rank Up Magic the Seventh One!

Dennis: I know who you are now!

Mystery: This spell card allows me to special summon one monster that has a number in between Number 101 and Number 107 in its name. I XYZ Summon a monster stronger than a Cosmic Storm! A behemoth with the ability to bend time to do its will! An interstellar terror leaving destruction in its wake! Arise my beast; for we shall claim victory for Barian! Come forth! Number 107: Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon!

Mystery: I'm not done! Now my spell card will Rank Up my monster into a Chaos XYZ Monster! Go Chaos Xyz Evolution! Face the multiverse and ignite new life into my great beast! Come forth Chaos Number 107: Neo Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon!

Dennis: You play with a lot of fire and anger don't you, Mr. Mystery. I know who you really are now. Being angry is kind of the thing for a Barian!

[Everyone gasps]

Dennis: You're a Barian! You're an evil person who tried destroying another world for his own benefit. You're a bad guy!

Mystery: You know who I am so why don't you tell me who you really are?

Dennis: Only if it would piss you off even more. My name is Dennis and I'm from the Fusion Dimension. I am one of the people who destroyed your home!

[Mystery growls. The rest of Lancers feel very bad]

Dennis: Why don't you take that disguise off. I can't take you seriously with it on.

[Mystery removes his cloak and reveals the Masked Boy]

Dennis: Still hiding behind a mask. I'll let it slide this time. Anway, where was I? Oh that's right! Pissing you off! I was a spy sent to the XYZ dimension to find a certain someone. When I did, it was my duty to capture her. She got away from me the first time but I was able to lead her into a trap where another person you know captured her!

Masked Boy: I already forgave him. He made up for it. I won't forgive you!

Dennis: So you know who I'm talking about.

[Silence]

Dennis: I helped capture your girlfriend: Lulu.

[The Masked Boy is infuriated]

Dennis: Now to top this all off! You want to know who helped the Chancellor put some parasites in their heads? I did! I helped put a Parasite inside the head of Celina, Rin, and Lulu! When we find Zuzu, the same will happen to her! They will be put under our control! We will make your precious girlfriend fight against you! I can only imagine how that would feel! To be fought against by the person that you love most!

[The Masked Boy and the other JP counterparts are livid. The bracelets girls are scared. The three Zarc counterparts are angry]

Dennis: Now finish your turn!

Masked Boy: I'm not finished by a long shot! I summon Gogogo Giant in ATK Mode!

Gogogo Giant: Level 4- 2000 ATK/ 0 DEF

Masked Boy: I activate its ability! When it's summoned, I can special summon one Gogogo monster from my Graveyard in DEF Mode and then switch this monster to DEF mode as well. Welcome back, Gogogo Ghost! I now overlay my Level 4 Gogogo Giant and Gogogo Ghost to build the Overlay Network! "I am feeling the flow like you would not believe! I'm high-fiving the sky baby! I'm not just in the zone, there's like, another zone inside the zone and that's the zone I'm in! Now check me out as I XYZ Summon Number 39: Utopia!

Number 39: Utopia: Rank 4- 2500 ATK/ 2000 DEF

Masked Boy: I'm still not through! I activate Utopia's ability! By using itself it can turn itself into a Chaos XYZ monster! I rebuild the Overlay Network with Utopia! Go Chaos XYZ Evolution! Come and show your magnificent might! Chaos Number 39: Utopia Ray!

Dennis: What's so special about that monster! It's the same except with a paint job!

Masked Boy: It's because I can do this! I activate the special ability of my ZW Unicorn Spear! I can equip it to Utopia and it gains 1900 ATK!

Chaos Number 39: Utopia Ray- 2500 ATK - - - 4400 LP

Masked Boy: When this monster attacks yours while it has this ZW, if your monster has a special effect, it won't activate! Now time to attack! Battle. Utopia Ray, attack and destroy his monster! Unicorn Strike!

Dennis: Ahh!

Dennis-7800 LP - - - 5200 LP

Masked Boy: Now, Neo Galaxy Eyes Tachyon Dragon, attack him directly! Ultimate Tachyon Spiral of Destruction!

Dennis: Ahh!

Dennis: 5200 LP - - - 700 LP

Masked Boy: Now hurry up and take your turn so I can end you! Turn end.

Melissa: The Masked Boy XYZ Summons two magnificent monsters and makes Dennis's LP go from 7800 to a measly 700.

Turn 5-Dennis

Masked Boy-7100 LP/Dennis-700 LP

Dennis: My turn. I draw! I place one monster face down in DEF Mode and end my turn.

Melissa: All Dennis can do is defend. This duel is over!

Turn 6-Masked Boy

Masked Boy-7100 LP/Dennis-700 LP

Masked Boy: Time to end this! My turn. Draw. Battle. Utopia Ray, attack and destroy his face down! Unicorn Strike!

Dennis: This is the end!

Masked Boy: Neo Galaxy Eyes Tachyon Dragon, use your 4500 ATK attack him directly and end this duel! Ultimate Tachyon Spiral of Destruction!

Dennis: AHH! AHH!

Winner: Masked Boy

[The duel ends. The stadium looks destroyed. The Masked Boy removes his mask and reveals JP (XYZ). No one thinks he's another JP because their clothes are different. The Masked Boy walks over to Dennis]

JP (XYZ): Now time to do what you did to us! Have fun being a card for the rest of your life!

Astral: JP (XYZ), don't. Don't be a monster like them.

[JP (XYZ) walks away. The council wants to pretend that nothing happened and continue with the Friendship Cup. The rest of the Lancers know that things are about to get intense]
