My new alien child Phel! She will be featured in a comic strip thingy imma gonna do pretty soon.

The basic story is that Phel crash lands on earth with her pet alien dog-dragon looking animal Mump, who I am yet to design. That's a thing with me. I'll name and roughly design a character in my brain before I draw them.

Anyway,

Phel winds up meeting a girl named Carmen, who's parents run a wildlife sanctuary. Hence, Carmen has a fox named Trip. Phel explains her situation (after the two stop being scared of each other), and Carmen decides to let the alien stay with her and teach her about earth--without her parents finding out about her.

It'll be a lot of fun little situations along the way, you know, with Phel not knowing anything about earth. It'll be almost a Phoebe and her Unicorn type setting, accept with teenagers and science fiction instead of magic.
