Blue Flame

she is the silent blue flame
in the midst of an inferno
she will lure you in
as you think her cold
and then she will burn
right through your fragile skin

she is the deadliest part of the fires around you
with her flicker
like a formless shadow
you will think yourself safe
as you approach her
and she will ignite you
to explode
or shrivel to ashes
