So I just stumbled across something crazy.

Apparently, in the original TMNT Mirage comics, Casey gets married to a pregnant woman named Gabrielle and she dies in childbirth. He raises the daughter as his own and later marries April, who considers the girl to be her adopted daughter.

Here's the thing that freaks me out though...

The daughter's name...is SHADOW.

*war flashbacks*

Is...is this my "future" vision coming into play again? Because I had no idea that that happened in the original TMNT comics.

I MADE AN ACCIDENTAL REFERENCE/CALLBACK AHHAHAHA

But now I've thought up another scenario that will PROBABLY be canon.

April: We are not naming our son Blake Shadow Jones.

Casey: Aw, come on, Red! That sounds boss!

April: I like Blake, but Shadow?

Casey: Shadow is cool...

April: I'm sorry, but no. How about Shane?

Casey: Blake Shane sounds so...eh. Like the vowels are too similar or something.

April: You already vetoed "Kirby", I get to pick Shane.

Casey: *opens mouth*

April: Casey Jones, I may be six months pregnant but I can still kick your ass.

Casey: Fine...

*Later, at the hospital*

April: *holding newborn Blake* Can you take the certificate to the doctor, please?

Casey: *takes it* Sure thing, babe.

Casey: *stops in the hallway* *writes "dow" over the "ne" at the end of Shane* 

Casey: *does signature Casey laugh*

And that's how Blake Shadow Jones got his name.
