When Robin came to, he had a pounding headache and noticed he was in the Nurse's Office...again.

"Hey there. You gave us quite the scare." Black Canary said.

"Uhhhhhhhhh...what happened?" Richard groaned.

"What's the last thing you remember?" Barry asked, grabbing a flashlight and checking Richard's eyes.

"I was in Slade's class...there was screaming...I couldn't breathe. I-I can't remember after that." Richard clutched his head.

"Hmmm...okay." Barry said.

Amanda, Clark, and some guy with a suitcase came in.

"Speaking of which, when can we get this chain off 'cause Slade has somehow used it to hit me in the- OH MY GOSH! HE TRIED TO KILL ME!" Everything suddenly came back to Richard.

The mystery guy unhooked Slade's collar and put a different one on him.

"Okay, this one will knock him out with even the slightest thought of murder." the guy said.

"Good. And it better work. I will NOT have the lives of students and teachers in danger." Amanda said.

"Hey! Can you unlock this chain now? I don't want to be around him. He tried to kill me!" Richard said.

"You both have issues with each other." Amanda said.

"I think it's quite clear that he is the issue, not me. I haven't tried to murder a student AND a teacher. At the most, I've just gotten mad. He's the real issue. He ganna end up killing someone sooner or later!" Richard countered.

"Which is why we need someone to watch him." Amanda revealed.

"Yeah, someone who ISN'T ME! He'll kill me! You saw it! He's willing to do it in front of other children and staff. And what about next time? He could do it in my sleep and no one would know!" Richard argued.

"We need you two to say together. You need to watch over him. You're the only one that can keep up with him." Amanda said.

"You saw in the gym! He's fast even for me! I didn't even see it coming!" Richard's voice started rising and his collar started sparking.

Amanda and Richard passed a few more lines.

But while they did, the mystery guy picked up a flashlight and walked over to Richard.

He flashed it in Richard's eyes.

"Do you feel that?" he asked.

"What?" Richard asked, looking at the guy.

"Do you feel the electricity?" he asked.

"Of cour-oh. Uhmmm...no." Richard realized. "Is it going?" he reached up and grabbed the collar with his hand.

"That's why. Slade and you have grown use to the shocks. The constant stream of electricity made them block it out. They've grown numb to it. At least at this setting." the man grabbed a remote.

"So what then?" Clark asked.

"We need to turn up the voltage." the man said and turned up Richard's voltage.

"Now get mad." the man said.

"I can't just 'get mad'!" Richard said.

"That's a lie coming from a racist, circus freak" Black Canary said.

"HEY! I'M NOT A CIRC-AHHHHHHHHHH!" Richard screamed as he was shocked.

He burst out crying and curled into a ball.

"It huuuuuuuuurts!" he cried.

"Good. This isn't suppose to be a fashion accessory." the man said and went back to working on Slade's new collar.

"I'm not a circus freak. And I'm not racist. I was mad. I didn't mean to hurt him." Richard said.

"I know." Black Canary messed up Richard's hair.

Richard laughed, play fighting her hand and kicking his legs a little bit.

"Stop!" Richard smiled brightly.

Barry laughed and joined in.

Richard started shrieking as Barry started tickling him.

They soon stopped, leaving Richard panting and his giggling dying down.

But he had a bright, playful smile and a big twinkle in his eyes.

And it was rare moments like this in which Amanda was reminded of one of the many reasons she works with children.

It was rare moments like these in which Amanda smiled.
