     THIRD PERSON

"I'm sure you'll be fine, Luna..." The Luxray shook his head before pacing out of the room. "There have been deaths, yeah...but we'll all make it out alive...I promise..."

The ominous draft from the open windows of the mansion breezed through, and it only took a few seconds to realize...

"Sam was right...it does get colder..." Zantai crossed his arms and curled into the couch. "Damn...that's actually really bad..."

"I'm sorry..." Inu fidgeted with her fingers. Zantai seemed to perk to life as if he's never heard Inu ever apologize.

"It's aight...I just—" A voice interrupted the Blaziken's next sentence.

"Everyone..!" Sammy smiled brightly as she stepped through the freezing doorway—which was blown open by the Infernape days ago. "I heard Bigby and Zantai found a garage..!"

"Yeah...but it was really weird. It was almost like it didn't belong at all..." The Blaziken stood on his legs to pace near the Braixen. "But we can explore it again...now that we're more people."

"Can I join?" Inu also stood on her feet to trudge near us.

     "Yeah...sure thing..!" Bigby grinned widely.

     Sammy's POV

"Ah, here it is..!" A gleeful smile tugged at my muzzle.

"Why are you so excited?" Inu tilted her head in confusion.

"Because anything new here could lead us to an exit. This mansion is very advanced, anything could prove useful to our escape..." I found myself near the doorway, gazing down at the dark void. "Does...does this thing go down?"

"This is what I meant by not belonging...the ground is around six feet steep compared to the grass out here..." Zantai placed a protective claw in front of my chest, preventing me from moving further. "Careful..." He eased.

"Yeah..." Bigby stepped forward and leaped into the void until I could no longer see him. Suddenly, two bright scarlet red eyes focused on mine. "I'm sure you can make it, it's not too high of a jump," Bigby reassured.

"Right..." Zantai chuckled in embarrassment before leaping inside. Everyone else seemed to do the same, and it was all smooth until...

"Uh...Zants..?" Bigby stepped back from the light, his gaze locked onto his Blaziken friend. Zantai's emotions seemed to already shift from just gazing at his worried friend.

"Yeah..?" Zantai neared the midnight Lycanroc in question. His glare locked onto the lightened ground.

     "The noose is gone..."

     Noose..? There was...

"There was a noose here?" I tilted my head in confusion.

"Holy shit..." Inu stepped forward and focused her glare to the Lycanroc. "Why didn't you tell us sooner?"

"If I did, that would cause even more problems. Anything lethal here could be used—" Bigby was just barely about to finish his statement before...

"Yeah, I get that...but you realize how suspicious you look for hiding that?" Inu crossed her arms.

     Silence.

The midnight Lycanroc in front of me huffed, shaking his head.

"I know...and there's nothing I can say to excuse me from that. Can we move on?" Bigby stepped forward and scrolled his stare around the room. "Someone could have that noose by now..."

"What are you all so worried about?" A deep voice reverberated around the garage, causing everyone to instantly jerk back and glare at the doorway. It was Hydra, his arms crossed and a focused glare directed to each of us.

"We were...looking for something..." I huffed quickly, my nervous gaze locking on to his. Okay...he can read my mind with aura...so it's best I stay quiet...even internally.

"You do realize how suspicious this looks?" The Lucario tilted his head, his scarlet red eyes gleaming brightly.

"Right..." Zantai sighed. "There's nothing here anyway..."

"We should uh...leave..." Bigby gazed at the Blaziken.

"Mhm." Hydra tore his gaze from us. "Now leave before I get even more suspicious of you all." The Lucario uttered and paced away from us.

     Once again...silence.

"Arceus, that dude is scary as fuck..." Inu shuddered and trudged near the doorway, leaping high enough to mantle it. Along with the rest of us, we finally made it into the fresh air outside.

"I wonder what everyone's doing inside?" I heaved a long sigh before walking forward.

     THIRD PERSON

It wasn't hard to tell what was going on in the mansion, if anything, it was something everyone expected.

"How have ye' not died yet, Luna?" Vince cackled loudly, his webbed hand slamming against the coffee table in laughter. "Aren't ye' like, the weakest 'ere?"

"Alright, man...I think that's enough." Xeonix crossed his arms. "You've bullied the kid enough."

"He's an easy target!" Vince rose to his feet, glaring at the Umbreon next to Xeonix. "You've been hella annoying, too!"

"Why should you fucking care!?" Luna snapped, his glare locked onto the Greninja. "All you've done is fucking bully me!"

The Umbreon's word usage seemed to cause everyone in the room to gaze at him with shock. It was like no one expected him to swear like that.

"Eheh...it looks like everyone's wordin' got on yer' tongue!" Vince snickered. "Aren't ye' too young for those words, kid?"

"That's...the last time..." Luna stepped forward. Vince stood still, expecting a pitiful attack. However, the second Luna stepped forward his eyes gleamed a bright white color. "That's the last time you make fun of me..." After this, the Greninja's body jerked suddenly and slammed harshly onto the wall.

"That was..." Loki stepped back from the Umbreon. "That was Psychic!"

"That guy was an asshole anyway..." Nightshade crossed her arms and offered a glare to the fallen Greninja—who was surprisingly unconscious.

Luna's breath labored as he stared at his actions. Instantly, he leaped out of the front door...

"I'll go look for him..." Luster shook his head in disappointment. "Someone take care of the drunk 'mon."

"There's something odd about this all..." Hydra stepped through the front door and scrolled around the room. "This energy...it's like stagnating air..."

"What are you talking about?" Prince scoffed. "Don't tell me you're hallucinating again."

"Don't think anyone asked you." Sherwood crossed his arms and glared at the Charizard.

"Fine." The Charizard shrugged and stomped away from the two. "See how far you'll get without my smarts."

"You never help anyway..." Sammy rolled her eyes. "I'm going to help look for him too..." The Braixen sighed and paced away from the front door, beginning to look for Loki.

"What was that feeling you were talking about?" Nightshade paced near the Lucario and placed a finger on her chin.

"Hm..." Hydra sighed and pressed his back onto the wall to lean. "Well..."

     Zantai's POV

I left the room, I had to. I usually do this most of the time, too. Leaving the rooms and waiting hours until it finally cools down. I was used to it. Either way, I figured I could finally return to my dorm with Hydra and sleep.

Hydra is actually a fitting roommate. I don't think there's anything suspicious about that guy, especially with his sense of justice. Unless he's just being nice for now and wants to murder me later. Knowing Sam, she probably wants us to have sex, she'd stop either of our deaths right away.

"Finally..." I leaned near the wide-open front doorway. "Peace and quiet...seems like everyone's gone..." I stepped closer to look inside. The living room was empty, and it seemed like everyone was asleep.

My gaze scrolled up to the night sky. "I wonder..." I felt my feet move on my own before I began dashing around the outer mansion. Finally, I arrived back near the garage. "I swear I saw something...maybe a button?"

However, the second I arrived near the doorway, a pile of rocks greeted me. "Who placed these rocks here..?" I found myself murmuring on my own. With my talons, I tore off each rock one-by-one. "Good thing I'm strong enough...otherwise I—"

     What is that?

     What the fuck is that!?

A pair of hopeless eyes met with mine, but they never moved. They never moved..!

A heavy, labored breath was heard from inside the darkened garage, and I felt myself dropping to my knees. I felt like vomiting.
