     Galant's POV

The lights returned, however, not before leaving us a new Pokemon inside of the room.

"Who are you..?" Those words escaped my lips upon seeing a Braixen propped against the corner of the room.

The Braixen slowly rose from her crouched position as her eyes stared directly at me, almost completely devoid of pigmentation. It was odd, glaring at such a Pokemon that was known to be constantly happy, but looking at Sammy made even me feel sad...

"Are you okay, by the way? Your eyes are quite tired," Loki quietly spoke to the Braixen, quickly shuffling her way around the small crowd, and placed her paw on her back in a supportive manner. She smiled at the Braixen, before earning a small chuckle from Sammy.

"Yes, thank you for your care," Sammy chuckled lightly, glaring into Loki's confident pupils. Loki never seems to get genuinely sad in any situation, I admire that.

"Heh, of course, you ignore the fact that she somehow knows something about this place," Sherwood sighed, his rough voice reverberating around the area.

"Yeah! Where are we!" Unknowingly, a Pokemon shouted from the crowd, causing Sammy to leap back in fear.

"I-I will t-tell you! Please don't get mad at me!" She called out in her defense, softly stepping forward to the crowd.

     "Here goes nothing..."

Her eyes scrolled around the crowd of fifteen people, and it seemed almost like fear collected the more she glared, so she took a deep breath and began.

"You all have been captured, and placed into a living habitat of human beings, which means th-"

"Humans!? I thought they were all extinct by now!" Inu blurted out, causing Sammy to grow slightly annoyed by this point. Her eyes directly locked on the Infernape, causing Inu to tremble momentarily.

"W-Woah, okay why are you staring at me like that?" Inu's words were quieter, and I really wasn't complaining.

"Yes, they are extinct-" the Braixen huffed lightly, taking her eyes off of the Infernape and scrolled around the crowd once more.

"-and this place, called a Mansion, a different word for a home that humans used, is owned by one of the evilest human beings who have ever existed," Sammy explained as the crowd was still completely silent. Either in awe, or just terrified, we all somehow shared the same emotion when Sammy began explaining the situation - dread.

"I don't like this place either, but just know I'm with you guys all the way. I just have had experience with human-related things, so I may give you a little tour as of now!" She happily chirped, gaining the crowd's complete interest.

"So you know what these things are?" A Machamp quietly spoke to Sammy, clutching an odd object - it looked rather sharp. Sammy reflexed forward and snatched the object out of his hands.

"T-That's a very dangerous object used for cutting! Don't grab it so carelessly like that!" She blurted out in distress as the Machamp looked rather disturbed.

"Okay, Gruta no grab sharp thing!" The Machamp spoke in broken English, it seemed like he's learning to speak in general, but the most noticeable thing about him was that he seems very...not scary when he speaks, perhaps not every Machamp is the same.

"I'm very scared, what is going to happen here? All the exits are blocked!" Aubra called out as Sammy glared directly at the Absol.

"At twelve in the morning is when something interesting will most likely happen," the Braixen happily chirped away, turning away from the crowd and calling out. Twelve in the morning? What is that?

"Follow me~!" She called in possibly excitement, which wouldn't have been suspicious if she didn't just introduce herself so depressed. How did her mood change so quickly? Is she mentally okay? Quite funny, because I unknowingly followed her - and because of this everyone just seemed to follow her too. There began the tour.

"Alrighty, so let's begin with just the definition of a few things that humans have used when they were living, these things are called light bulbs, they are sources of light - and they are powered by electricity," Sammy began...

"You may not grasp these but, these things are called doors," she shoved her hand on a plate of wood, which swung open. I can almost feel Sherwood's surprised reaction, as we both saw something very similar to that...er...door.

"They are used to basically separate rooms for privacy," I heard Inu sighed in relief, quickly departing from the group and shoving herself into a room.

"Hey, Sammy, what are rooms, exactly?' A female voice called from the crowd as the Braixen turned around, beginning to walk backward while smiling at us.

"Well, they are places for either sleeping or just multiple things. Humans were very creative when making these, so there are multiple possibilities," she explained the whole definition of a room as she shifted back around, leading the crowd once more. Inu seemed to have returned back into our group as I can hear her whispering nonsense I could not have heard anyways.

After a while, everyone got accustomed to human terms and time frames, and it only took a few hours to do so. However, just because we were accustomed, does not mean we wanted to stay. Some of us were scared or wanted to go back home to family and such. All the exits being completely blocked was now beginning to be brought up to the conversation. I turned around to ask it to Sammy but, she was nowhere to be found. I found it odd, no one cared to look for her now, they were either inspecting the house or just looking for an exit in the most unusual places. I was the first to start looking for her, and when I finally did find her...

It was oddly normal, she was sitting on a chair, her head propped up against the kitchen table. It almost felt relieving to use new human vocabulary, but it felt like learning a new language as I too mixed some things up. Slowly, I approached the sleeping Sammy, glaring directly at her hand and softly tapping it with the dull end of my bladed hands. She slowly groaned awake, staring me directly into the eye with a tired expression.

"Yeah?" She began the conversation with a question, too bad I was going to follow up with another.

"I would like to ask, why are all the exits blocked off? There has to be a reason," I inquired to her as she planted her head back into her arms, now facing away from me, but she still spoke.

"I told you, at twelve in the morning everything will be explained," she huffed out, before silently yawning and going back to sleep. I sighed in annoyance, shifting back around. Luckily, everyone had gathered in the living room by now, so I got to see every Pokemon.

Zoroark, Greninja, Lucario, Machamp, Sceptile, Absol, Infernape, Toxicroak, Ninetales, Eevee, Manectric, Midnight Lycanroc, Midday Lycanroc, and Weavile...counting Sammy and me, were all sixteen. My question is, if Sammy was never here from the beginning, then how did Loki count sixteen instead of fifteen? Leon knew clearly that there were fifteen before Sammy arrived...

I thought to myself for a while, but I was snapped in existence at the sight of Loki approaching.

"Heya! Were all in the living room, were waiting for the time to reach twelve so the interesting thing can happen, join us!" She chirped out to me with a smile as I nodded, smiling back and following. I couldn't say no either way, not with that attitude.

I hated being here...but I really don't hate it anymore...not with these interesting people. One by one, I met them all in the living room. Every one of these people have their own personality, I just wish I didn't meet them here.

     Ding dong, dong ding!

I jumped at the sound, my heart rate increased as the sound echoed around the building. We all glared at each other, making sure we weren't crazy, or anything. I turned to the kitchen, seeing as Sammy was completely gone. Vince picked himself off the ground and glared around.

"The heck is going on?" the Greninja exclaimed.

The lights shattered completely, as some pieces of the glass fell on me, but I was luckily unharmed. A disgusting laugh reverberated around the mansion as a bright light of flame rose from the roof. It was Sammy, but something was wrong. No, very wrong. She was absolutely terrifying, that glare could cause anything to just freeze in absolute fear...and that's what I did. The Braixen was a little different, on some specific places like her arm, she seemed to bleed.- She crawled around the ceiling and dropped down directly in front of Loki.

"It's twelve in the morning, hun. Shouldn't you be scared?" 'Sammy' smirked at the unphased Zoroark. Loki wasn't scared?

"You're not Sammy, aren't you?" she questioned as the creature cackled in laughter, before hopping away onto the staircase.

"Ding! You are correct! I am Sam! You are probably wondering why you are here, well simple! You are all going to participate in a killing game! The fittest of the fittest will get to leave from this absolute hell! Hehehe!" I couldn't speak, or retaliate from what she was blurting out, and I don't think anyone else could, we were paralyzed from the word "killing".

"Oh but don't worry, you can actually leave from here if you want...just KILL someone to do it!" Her gruesome laugh was now engraved in our heads as I finally spoke up.

"To hell goes that! I'm not going to kill anyone, and neither are we!" I called out as some people joined in.

"Yes! We are not going to do it!" Grace the Eevee chirped back in defiance.

"Oh but don't get too comfortable, Sammy won't be back till morning, so just have a great time with me...I shall be watching..." A disgusting smile came from Sam before she erupted into flames and blasted at the ceiling, completely phasing through it.

Darkness...Sam was practically the only light source thanks to her flames, but now that they have disappeared, we are left under her evil wrath.

"What...just occurred?" Leon whispered from the crowd, causing a lot of people to start sobbing...

     Loki's POV

I cried...I couldn't do anything else. I didn't know what else to do. I slapped my palms against my face, the tears traveling across my face.

"Why..." Is all I could mutter out, the crowd also sobbed, but for some odd reason, I felt like I cried the loudest. I didn't care, I just want to leave this place. I don't want to die here, and for sure I don't want anyone else to die here. I rubbed my palm against my face before dropping them and glaring up. I was slightly taken aback by the sight of flames, but I looked higher to see Inu. Her glare was softer than usual, and she approached me, before embracing me in a hug. This was oddly comfortable, but I hugged back. We let go as I examined the area, and it was as I expected. The atmosphere was quite dull and sad, something I never wanted to see.

Galant was roaming around trying to comfort people, Aubra was starting at the ground, possibly thinking. Everyone seemed to be broken at the thought of a killing game, it was horrible. However, I'm confident that no one will kill anyone, and that's that. I pushed my tears away with a new face of confidence.

I'm going to stop this killing game, no one will get hurt!

     No one.
