I walked into the room and saw a glowing ball if light that looked like an orb that lit up the dark room. I stared at the orb in astonishment. "Oh. My. Gosh." I gasped. I walked hesitantly towards it. The orb was glowing all kinds of colors. Blue, purple, red, green, white, yellow, brown, and colors that doesn't even have names! "Wow..." I breathed. I reached out my hand, not knowing what was going to happen, I touched it. I was shot backwards into the wall. I fell forward onto hands and knees. I was gasping for air, obviously the blow knocked the breath out of me. Once I caught my breath, I looked behind me at the wall. There was a dent with a crack slightly visible, but it was there. I looked back up at the orb of light. It was now red. I would expect it to change color again, but it didn't. Then, I heard a booming voice. WHO DARE DISTURBED THE RULER OF NIGHTMARES? I didn't do anything but run. I didn't even turn to see if the kitten had followed me. I just ran. I would run till I couldn't even stand. I ran out of the school and across the yard, through town, and into the woods. I fell into a pile of leaves, not caring there was a worm right next to my head. Despite my fear of bugs, there was more to be afraid of. I saw the small kitten pad up to me and lick my face over and over again. I smiled and got up. The kitten jumped into my lap and sat there, his ears perked.
