"Our love is true!" they shouted to the crowd,

"That's nasty!" replied the mound.

Two hearts, two people, a perfect love, yet broken,

The winds of un-acceptance, blew through them.

What is love? What do you think?

A feeling wavered by passionate hearts,

But why is it that everything may sink,

Just like a fairytale's beautiful curse.

A bittersweet love, which cost them both tears,

A daring move, standing up against all odds

Such a love, is it worth all the fear?

Who will help them, if not the gods?

But a traited love, illegal in their hometown,

It will cost them their deaths, so a different way,

The younger boy with hair light brown,

swung his neck around the rope halfway.

The black haired one shouted at the door,

How much does their love need to suffer?

He saw a sight, much not wanted to the core,

For the hanging body from the ceiling, he did discover.

He gently brought the body down,

shouting and howling in the process,

And he saw his lover, now dead,

In the end, they didn't gain success.

'Isn't it better, that you get to live,

rather than both of us dying?

Without me now, you can be alive,

and find someone eligible for loving...'

Once again can you tell me, what is love?

Is it really a feeling wavered by passionate hearts?

For to me it seems, it's not a white dove,

It's a flawed imposition limited to gender.

A tragic love, a young boy's funeral,

And another in tangled tears,

"Yes I will live on, but not to find some eligible,

But to find you in every love, and love in only you."

A love so pure, a love so true,

yet the love was rejected, but doves flew,

For behind the funeral ceremony, where no one knew,

Two girls did lock their lips, very discretely.
