(It's Naruto's Last Day at Ninja Academy, and he prepares to perform what was his worst jutsu back then. He created shadow clones, much to almost everyone's shock. Only a few knew he could do it. After that, he passed the test and became a genin.)

Naruto: (in mind) Well... I did it...

(Some hours at night, he is seen eating ramen along with Hinata and Iruka as both smile at him.)

Iruka: Congratulations. You have passed.

Hinata: Yeah... congratulations, Naruto-kun.

Naruto: Thanks.

(Suddenly Naruto senses someone's presence and turns to see an unknown bandit stealing a scroll.)

Naruto: (in mind) Looks like someone is up to no good.

(Hinata gets worried about Naruto while Iruka decides to pay the bill and goes with Naruto to follow the bandit.)

(Meanwhile, the bandit is seen outsmarting the ANBU as he goes to a forest and prepares to open the scroll, but then he hears a male voice.)

????: So you can outsmart the best of ANBU, eh?

(The bandit turns to see Naruto and Iruka.)

Bandit: Damn it.

Iruka: I'll give you a chance. Surrender.

Bandit: (scoffs) Pathetic. You just got your damn name in my black list, Iruka Umino and... (sees Naruto) whoever is this kid.

Naruto: Well, since you wasted your chance to live, I'll tell you my name anyway. I'm Naruto Uzumaki.

(The Bandit summons a big shuriken and prepares to throw it.)

Bandit: DON'T TALK LIKE I CARE!

(He throws the shuriken, but suddenly time freezes as Naruto moves, implying that he was the one who froze time. He punches the shuriken, destroying it, and then he hits the bandit in the gut, destroying him with only one punch. After that the time flows again, and Iruka gets confused.)

Iruka: What just happened?

Naruto: We just need to retrieve the scroll back to where it was taken.

Iruka: (nods) Right.

(As Iruka and Naruto retrieve the scroll to the location it was taken, both are then seen looking at the sky.)

Iruka: Tomorrow will be a new day. I hope you're ready, Naruto.

(Naruto simply nods as he knows he just started a long journey.)
