Ivypool crawled into her nest. She was tired, and wished that she wouldn't have to go to the Dark Forest. But deep down, she was excited. Ivypool felt a longing, deep in her heart. "I shouldn't... it's wrong..." she murmured to herself, as she closed her eyes, and drifted to sleep.
She opened her eyes, to a dark, shadowy, musty, forest. A shiver ran up Ivypool's spine, from a mixture of fear and excitement. Suddenly, a warm, sweet scent wafted to her. A scent she knew so well. "Hello Hawkfrost," Ivypool meowed.
"Hello Ivypool," growled Hawkfrost in reply. Ivypool felt a warm sensation grow inside of herself. No, she thought to herself, you can't. He's evil, murderous, and cruel. Your just a spy. But deep down inside, the feeling grew, making her feel happy.
"Today I will have you fight me. If you win, you can do what you want, as long as you stay in the Dark Forest. If I win, i train you more," Hawkfrost meowed, with that deep, soothing voice- "stop that," Ivypool muttered to herself.
Hawkfrost growled "What was that?"
"Uh, nothing!" Ivypool meowed, loudly, embarrassed.
"Then let's get started" He purred, leaping onto her, taking her by suprise. He sunk his teeth into her neck, but Ivypool whipped around, and bit his tail. He screeched, and the two, battled hard, until Ivypool pinned him down, and held him by the throat. "You win," he rasped.
Ivypool let him loose, but stayed alert, in case it was a trick. "Yes I uh... won," she meowed sheepishly.
"Good job. You can go watch the other training sessions now," meowed Hawkfrost. As Ivypool started off to do just that, she accidentally slipped into a rabbit hole.
"Help!" She screeched. Hawkfrost stared in horror, and ran over to help her.
"Are you ok?" He asked once he pulled her out. Ivypool was shocked to see genuine worry and pain in his eyes. Was that longing too?
Ivypool shook away those thoughts. "I think I twisted my paw," she mewed, remembering how Dovewing did the same thing a few moons back.
Hawkfrost touched her leg gently with his nose. Ivypool yowled in pain, as the leg automatically healed. "I learned I could do that, when I twisted my paw," he mewed sheepishly.
Ivypool was shocked. One, Hawkfrost just did the nicest thing ever. Two, he was being sheepish. Three, HE COULD HEAL WITH MAGIC.
Hawkfrost began licking her ruffled fur, with soothing strokes. Ivypool purred, delighted, then mentally scolded herself. But she couldn't help it. Suddenly, she knew what she had to do.
"Hawkfrost, I need to tell you something. I-"
"I know," Hawkfrost purred lovingly. "I love you too" he continued grooming her, and soon they were laying side by side, telling funny stories, and whatnot. Ivypool was hating herself, but at the same time, in love anyway. She loved Hawkfrost, and Hawkfrost loved her. They got up, knowing that it was almost dawn, and they soon would have to leave each other. Hawkfrost looked her in the eye, his eyes filled with pain.
"Why does dawn have to bring such pain?" He mewed sadly.
"I know," Ivypool murmured, rubbing his muzzle with her own. "I don't want to go."
Hawkfrost sighed painfully. "Goodbye. I'll see you tonight?" He purred hopefully.
Excitement and longing filled Ivypool, in anticipation of tonight. "Of course!" She purred. Their tails stayed intertwined for a second longer, and then, Ivypool woke up.

I hope you like it! I might write more, but don't get hopefull.
