Personality: Terry is a nice and kind-hearted boy who everyone wanna be a best friend, he loves music that has beats which he does, inherited from his late father is a kind and gentle smile which he uses this on his family and friends. He has feelings for Tohru since he was a little boy and wanna protect her from harm's way or anybody lay hands on her. Terry has high respect and loves Kyoko Honda (Tohru's late mother) as the mother he wanna and be there for him when he lost his mother when he was 5 years old. His father, Leon was Kyoko best friend since middle school. His father and Kyoko died from an accident, which leaves Tohru and Him orphan and he suffers depression for the loss of his father who been there for him, But he has to move on and take care himself since his sweet best friend lost her mother which breaks his heart million pieces. He is clumsy and timid once he meets new people and always shy to girls and easily embarrassed if he asks embarrassing Questions or compliments, he gets picked on by his adopted twin sister, Yumi and Rumi for being geek and Dork (due to him wear glasses), but he loves them as younger sibling they always want. He gets angry or upset to see his adopted twin sisters are depressed due to bullies and confessions rejections. Past: Terry Kamiyama was raised by two parents, Monica Mitchell (professional EDM DJ music artist, Hime-rose) and Leon Kamiyama (high school boy who elope with Monica at Age of 17 and stay hidden from society, he married to Monica at the age of 18 and got their first child, Terry). When he was 5 years old, he follow his mom everywhere she goes at home and listen to her music and ask her to he wanna to help her and she was very happy to see her son being good person she wanna him to be. Terry loves His father and his mother so much and he helps his parent out since he dislikes when he see them stressed out. Terry's mother Monica suffers Tuberculosis which Monica hug her son one last time before she heading to her final DJ concert which is EDC (Electric Daisy Carnival Japan) which Terry loves to see his mom's performance. after her final 3 days performance at EDC, in the Monday morning his mother died from her disease on the morning after the festival which it came on the news about beautiful DJ Pass away which Leon received tragic news about his wife death on his phone call from his family member which results in Leon get lonely and very depressed for the loss of his beautiful wife from that horrible sickness and realized his son Needs his only parent to be there for him in difficult times. He got text messages from his best friend from middle school, Kyoko Honda, and also said her console to him and his family for the loss of his wife and her fans that love her and her music since she also lost her husband on the two years ago with her husband sickness, pneumonia and his wife died of Tuberculosis. when Terry was 10 years old, his father decides to take him to kamiyama estate where Leon was born and raise by the good family to introduce his son to his family and also meet his distant cousins and uncles, and aunt, he also meets the head of the family, Sumiko. She consoles and saddens to hear her aunt in law died and wish them to stay with them and she accepted Terry as the Kamiyama family member and wanna them to come home and lived with them, Sumiko also told Terry a dark secret of the kamiyama family, she told him the story of the Chinese zodiac and revealed that she is the leader of the zodiac, God and she control the bond of her zodiac animals with kindness, respect, secretive, prosperity.
She told Terry that if something happens to his father, she will put him good family who has twin daughters and protect the Kamiyama secret for life. When his father Leon died in the accident, Terry became orphan and his mom family wanna him in custody (due to Monica heritage money left behind and Terry name was on Monica testament) but Sumiko came with martial arts teacher, Kikyo who in the end got full custody and adopted him as her son and took him into her home and introduced him to his new twin sisters which the girls felt afraid of Terry because he is a boy who won't accept their "disease" and Terry found a new home with people who knew his dad very well and turns out the twin sister's godfather was his father, Leon. When he was 12 years old, on his birthday, he brought his two best friends since grade school, Alex and Henry from NYC who need to find a home due to them being orphans. So Kikyo got him a present and Terry accidentally trips and land on Yumi, which chain of events of the family, Yumi turns into a yellow cat in front of him and his two orphan friends which stunned to see that girl who was his sister just turn into a cat, Rumi and Kikyo are in fears of the family secret have been revealed but Terry hugs his younger twin sister because he knows the family secret by his father who told him the story, his friends the same and pet Yumi since she is so cute as a cat and he is very happy to know his twin sisters are one of the zodiac Animal from the story his father told him: Rat and Cat. He went to report Sumiko about the incident and he had verdict from her that Alex stay with Mayumi and Henry stay with Hinami mother along with his sister, Mina and his friends stay with him and they must keep this secret until they died, which Alex and Henry accepted it and also to stay with Kikyo to help out housework, jobs and also school. Terry going to middle school phase, he was know as Nerd due to glasses he wears. Now high school phase, he looks different without his glasses and now listen to music he always love to calm him down. But he never knows the change is going to happen to his family and when he was his way to Mai's home (where he lives now on) from grocery shopping, he bumps into someone and apologizes for him not looking when he sees a brown haired girl with pink ribbons until he remembers Who is in front of him, his childhood best friend and his Crush, Tohru. Terry hugs Tohru and apologizes that he left her alone, she forgives him because he was depressed about the loss of his father, he told her that he got adopted by his father side of the family, the teacher that taught him to martial arts in his juniors high phase and now he is living with his cousin, Mai Kamiyama and wanna tell her she can visit his home and meet his cousin and also she can meet his adopted twin's sister. She said with her innocent sweet smiles: "sure I will visit your home and meet them since they took you in when you need of support and also a family member of your father's side".
