2. Make dream catchers out of natural materials

You need:

- 3 branches
- leaves, berries, pine cones, nuts or acorns
- about 10 wooden beads
- about 6 m of leftover wool (can be different types of wool)
- scissors
- loppers

That's how it's done:

1. Shorten the branches so that they are all about the same length (at best 20 cm).

2. Tie the branches together at the ends, you will need about 50 cm of thread for this. First knot one end of the thread to a branch in such a way that the longest possible end is left. Wrap the long end of the thread several times criss-cross around both branches and knot both ends together with a double knot.

3. For the braid you first build the base to which you will later attach the inner braid. Take about 160 cm of wool and first knot it to a corner of the "branch frame". Then fasten them along the branches by wrapping the wool tightly around the branches twice about 3 cm apart and knotting them. Do this until you are all around.

4. Cut 8 to 10 wool threads of different lengths (each at least 20 cm long). Knot them twice and at a distance of 1 to 2 cm from each other on the branch that will later be below. The short protruding remains cut off at the knot. At the opposite corner you also fasten a ribbon: for the hanger.

5. For the inner braid you need about 140 cm of wool. You "spin" these wildly back and forth from side to side and pull them through the "straps" created by the outer braid to fasten them. Make sure to use each tab once if possible so that the braid is even.

6. Now it's time to decorate with leaves, cones, acorns and the like. To better thread the pearls, twirl the wool between your fingertips until it becomes very thin and firm. Leaves or feathers can now be inserted into the pearls.
