If you have children, you know occupying them can be a challenge. Even if you're babysitting. So here are some fun activities you can do with your child.

Ages 1-4

Now these ages are pretty much fun to entertain. BUT THEY CAN WEAR YOU OUT. But still fun.

Play music. Like Lullabies. Toddlers love to hear music especially if it's catchy. (When I babysit my cousin, PJ, he listened to K-pop. From the time he was a toddler until he was a preteen. Don't recommend it unless you like it. Hehe.)

Turn on your favorite children's show. Toddlers love to watch tv so it's best if they watch something educational. But don't overdo it...Arthur....*tears up my childhood.*)

Play with Toys. Toddlers love to play with toys. It's them exploring their environment.

Now we have Ages from 5-12

These kids are in school and will need to wind down or blow their energy when they come home and have done their homework. found that building a fort and arts & craft is a perfect way to keep these kids Here are some of my suggestions:

Have a dance party. Turn on some music and let loose

Have a picnic in the backyard. Pack a lunch or just a snack and enjoy the outdoors. A picnic is always fun!

Build a fort. Use blankets, pillows, and chairs to create a cozy space. And later, you can listen to a story together or invent your own.

Play board games or card games. Have some fun and friendly competition.

Do arts and crafts. Getting creative with paints, markers, and construction paper is fun and also a way for them to tap into their creative mind.

Read books. Reading is fundamental and will give them to imagine what they are reading and also increase or broaden their vocabulary. There are thousands of great children's books. Let us know in the comments which one is your favorite!
