Ash's pov:

We had just entered route 5......

When.

We.

Saw.

Him.

A tall figure sauntered near us. His eyes were a piecing green and his hair was bright blonde in some wierd gangster style. He looked familiar......... But I could not put my finger on whom he looked like............

So I threw a pokeball at his face.

"HEY?!?! What d'ya do that for m8?" He yelled.

"My name's ash Ketchum from the town of Pallet, from the reigon of Kanto. I challenge you to a battle."

"Oh dear. Not again...." Pikachu sighed.

"...." He replied, "Right."

"BATTLE."

In all my life I never thought I would meet someone with an even cooler, calmer, collecteder tone than Ricky. But they were standing in front of me......... Wearing a team skull costume????

"I'm Gladion. I battle for my partner, Null, to make it strong. Though most of our time gets used up doing small jobs for Team Skull."

"BATTLE."

"Do you really want a battle with me? You'll get your Pokémon hurt for no reason......"

"BATTLE."

Kwaiis pov:

So ash is now having a battle with a stranger. What has changed.......?........

"Salutations Gladion, what are doing here?" Lillie asked.

"...."

Lillie and gladion were clearly brother and sister. I wonder why Lillie never mentioned him before......

Ash brought out pikachu and gladion brought out an unusual Pokémon I have never seen before.

Ash used his Pokédex to identify the creature, it is apparently called Type Null.

Gladion was the first to land an attack, he commanded Type Null to use pursuit, which hurt pikachu badly. Swiftly pikachu got up and used swift which hardly affected type null. Gladion finished off the battle with a tackle attack and then pikachu fainted. Poor ash.

"Nooo pikachu!!!"

"Pika pika!!"

"Are you even taking this seriously?" Gladion said, "Hmmppphhh." Gladion said while ficking his hair.

"W-w-what do you mean?" Ash replied, clearly he was becoming angry.

"HA."

"I am! So seriously! I'm seriously enjoying it!"

"You can enjoy Pokémon battling when you put everything you have into it... which clearly you haven't."

"Yeah you're right just like the betrayers-"

Mallow interrupted, "Ash, don't even bother justifying yourself to this rebel, rugged, rapscallion. We know you're strong, and that's all the matters. Besides-"

[A/N: If you want to you don't have to read this next paragraph, it's not really necessary, it's just a list of ash's achievements. But miraculously_awesome you have to because #refrences]

Ash continued, "Yeah you guys are right thanks Lillie, and mallow I guess. But just for the record....." *Takes deep breath* "I have won the: Boulder Badge, Cascade Badge, Thunder Badge, Marsh Badge, Rainbow Badge, Soul Badge, Volcano Badge, Earth Badge THEN got into the top 16 in the Indigo Plateau THEN I became champion of the orange league, in the johto region I collected all 8 badges and got into the top 8 in the Silver Conference and also in the Ever Grande Conference, I ALSO became champion of the Kanto battle frontier, THEN I got into the top FOUR in the Lily of the Valley Conference (when by the way I lost because of some CHEAT who had like a freaking darkari). THEN in the Vertresss Conference I came in the top 8, ALSO in the Lumiose Conference I. Was. The. RUNNER UP. [Where I lost to this guy called Alan] and here are some of my other achievements (just to name a few): [P1 Grand Prix - Winner, Bug Catching Contest - winner, whirl cup - top 32, Tour de Alto Mare - wait I didn't finish that.... But misty won!! Unofficial terracotta contest - winner (joint with may), Jubilife contest - top 8, Wallece cup - top 8 (sinnoh now and call me maybe and chin up), Pokémon dress up contest - top 5, Hearthome city tag battle competition - winner (with Paul ew), Pokémon summer academy - winner, Pokésled jump tournament - Unknown (wait this hasn't even happened in the anime yet.....)] and many many more I can't be bothered to name." (Seriously he has actually had SO many achievements.....) *Long breath out* "phew!" Ash had finally finished.

"Later." Gladion said while turning his back on us walking into the sunset. He waved goodbye in a salute-style manner. Danm he's so cool.

"It's okay ash, you'll win next time!!"

"True, drew!!" Ash said cheerily.

"HA, yeah right!" Lillie scoffed.

"So how do you know that guy Lillie?" Ash asked.

Everyone face palmed.

"Ummm...... my older brother, is that not obvious.......?????" Lillie replied.

"Ehh I don't see it...."

....

Mallow started, "So do you two get along?"

"Yeah we do actually....... It's just....... Nevermind....."

We decided to change the subject as it was clear Lillie didn't want to talk about it.

"So ash can you finish listing all your achievements??" Mallow desperately pleaded.

Everyone groaned.

"Of course melon, in fact I have a list in my bag which I can give to you.... I can even sign it!!!"

Stars and hearts appeared in mallows eyeballs and she began to drool.....

Lillie: "ew."
