I am a would be poet and third time camper.

I wonder if anyone will bring a food hamper?

I hear you all arriving now,

I see so many wonderful books, oh wow!

I want us all to enjoy; growing don't you know it?

I am a third time camper and would be poet!

I pretend meeting you looking forward.

I feel though I'm too shy and awkward.

I touch and reach out to you performing.

I worry though about our future and global warming.

I cry when Senryu masquerade as haiku.

I am looking forward to meeting you!

I understand how unnerving the camp can be.

I say be yourself and let your mind run free.

I dream of all your books and their contents,

I'll try to make insightful poetic comments.

I hope we all will finish the camp and none will scamper.
