Chapter 1

Year 4014

The Great Ruin. A post-apocalyptic event that has been raging for five centuries. Many lives were lost, nearly sending the three remaining known races into extinction. the three races, Humans, elves, and Hybrids have been on this earth for as long as history can tell.

Two years after the Great ruin. Humanity is still staying underground to let the planet's wildlife to grow back. While discovering one year later that there are other remnants of civilizations across the world.

Forming a treaty to share all kinds of knowledge and information to prevent the world from falling to war. The King of Remnant ordered the entire kingdom to stay since they had already accomplished a settlement.

Eighteen years later a 14-year-old boy with snow white hair that's messy and ocean blue eyes named Anax. Ananta Lexicon who lives with his Mother and Sister, near the Kingdoms edges, starts to attends a high school that will start the adventure of his life. "Anax wakes up, or you'll miss the first day of school. Anax?" Anax's mother Cried out worrying that his Son might've stayed all night up again, then suddenly she heard a crash sound only knowing that Anax is awake and is rushing to get changed and went downstairs in his school clothes to eat breakfast and rushed out to the bus stop only to find his friend there.

"H-Hey Ekatommyrio w-what's up, I haven't seen you all summer," Anax said out of breath. 

Ekato is a 14-year-old boy who is taller than Anax but ha jet black hair and Black eyes that could stare through your soul

Once Anax got his breath back he realized that they're ten minutes early for the bus. " Anax I thought I told you not to call me by my full name. It's Ekato. E-K-A-T-O got it! So get that through your head..." Ekato suddenly went quiet and gave an evil smirk. When Anax was wondering where Ekato was looking at he turned his head to that direction only to find out where Ekato was looking at. Anax's face instantly paled and yelled " A-ABSCONDITUS" and Anax turned completely invisible until Ekato yanked him by the collar before he could hide in the park. Anax choked and coughed trying to get his school collar free so he can hide only to figure out that his invisibility magic was cancelled before saying in fear "H-How can you even do that, I mean no one can cancel magic at all especially SSS-Class ranked magic. (turning his face left) Oh no, Ekato please let me go before she gets here, PLEASE." Anax now quivering only for Ekato to say "Well, guess I'm the first to cancel magic out and you're one of the youngest ones to use the magic of this Rank in the first place. Oh and I'm not letting you go because it's time to stand up and actually talk to her Anax." Ekato now letting go of Anax then punching him in the stomach so he couldn't get away while the mysterious girl approached the bus station only to ask Ekato who is the boy lying on the ground before Anax lost consciousness.

Anax then hears the sound of Ekato and another voice saying wake up and when he did he was in class with Ekatommyrio and the Mysterious Girl. When Anax fully woke up he almost screamed in terror only for Ekato to cover his mouth before he could make a peep. Anax then said " Thanks for saving me from embarrassment Ekato. Man now that's the trillionth time you saved me Ekato, but I have a quick question. WHY DID YOU KNOCK ME OUT, I MEAN IF EMINSU WERE HERE-(what is this, Why is he here)" Anax then realized Ekato left him the class schedule and a poster but the first-period bell rang before he had a chance to read the poster. the teacher came in and introduced himself and announced that the gym is currently off limits due to it being re-decorated. The teacher then announced "we also have a new student in this district, apparently he's the King's grandson-" After the teacher said that, the entire class started whispering "Dude, did you just heard that, the teacher said the King's Grandson, please tell me if I just imagined that" Anax said with excitement, but his eyes say otherwise. "I know Anax I have never been this excited in my whole life. I heard he is more powerful than Prince Dracenom's student." Ekato said in the same to of voice only for the teacher to interrupt everyone's whispers "As I was saying, He's the King's Grandson and his name is Sora Dracenom."

"It's a pleasure to meet you all." Prince Dracenom said in a formal manner as he went to his assigned seat. "I hope the tournament will be fun," Sora whispered when he passed Anax whose eyes widened more whispers and people sending text messages to the other classes and then throughout the entire school.

After the first period had ended and the second period had started, Anax was walking to the halls looking for his second-period classroom, which was magic studies and hearing people talking about the Prince. While looking for it he was looking at the poster that Ekato had left him, until he bumped into a purple haired girl.

"Whoops, sorry I wasn't-, Miss Aisha, why aren't you at the class," Anax questioned his teacher.

"Well, I just got here Anax. oh, go inside I'll be in quickly." Miss Aisha said while dusting her lab coat.

Anax listened and went inside of the magic studies classroom which consists of a regular science class, but mainly focuses on the magical aspects. Anax went and sat down beside the one person that every girl would ever want to sit with, Sora.

"So, Sora remember the deal you and I made," Anax whisper to Sora who nodded.

Aisha then came in and explained the basics of what they're doing this semester, and what, the game they'll be playing today.

"Ok class, I borrowed the Magic power Identifier or MPI for short from the gym, we will use it to identify who the most powerful image is in the class, and the one who isn't the most powerful will have to....wear a fake mustache for the rest of the day."

Everyone immediately stiffened, when ever Miss Aisha wants to play a game, mostly because she has a habit of acting childishly at the loser. When everyone lined up outside in the field, they all got ready to use their magic, until one student, got pushed out of the way revealing another student. "Alexander," Anax said gritting his teeth.

"Alright chumps, I'll go first seeing as how I'm of course the strongest." Alexander boasted as he went to the MPI.

"Rock Smash!" Alexander yelled he moved the earth, to form a giant fist and smash the MPI.

Everyone was surprised to see Alexander use magic without a magic circle, even Anax went wide-eyed at Alexander's attack until their attention was brought to the MPI, which revealed his score of 357.

Everyone was surprised at his score and had their turns. Most of their score was either under or near Alexander's score.

After everyone had their turn, the only people were left who hadn't had their turns were, Anax, Sora and a blonde haired kid with a some white on the front named Shido left.

Shido then walked up to the MPI then looked at the girls and say. "Cheer me on ladies," Shido said playfully only to be ignored. "Shido, Ya know every time you try to act like a badass, it fails. Badly." Anax said stretching his last word. "Well how about you get serious with ma-" Shido was then cut off by the magic power coming from Anax and Sora.

"Loser has to buy the winner lunch for the next week Anax," Sora said seriously with Anax agreeing.

Shido just backed away from the two. 'ok what just happened in the span of 5 seconds, nevermind I don't wanna know.' Shido thought and looked the MPI. " Light streak," Shido yelled as a magic circle appeared on his arm making it glow. Shido ran and jumped at the MPI, hitting it with his full strength.

When he was done, the MPI showed his score to be 360. Most of the people were astonished at Shido's score, while Alexander was getting angry. 

Then all of a sudden a burst of magic hit everyone causing them to look at the source, only to move back slowly as Anax was completely covered in energy, while Sora's whole body was set ablaze, blocking most of their features from the world. If anyone were to walk in right now, their instincts and first reaction would scream, monster and run away.

"This will be the first time, in a long time I've been serious with magic." Anax and Sora darkly said looking at the MPI.

Everyone slowly backed away as Anax started to walk towards the MPI. He stopped and suddenly started running towards the MPI, only to jump and yell something which became inaudible due to the energy surrounding his body interfering with the sound waves. He then smashed his fist against the MPI revealing a magic circle underneath it and caused the ground to shatter and explode around Anax by a few feet.

When Anax, pulled back he waited to see his score on the MPI, until it stopped and reveal a total score of 957. Everyone's jaw dropped at the score until Sora went and did the same thing except, the area around him was covered in an explosion.

When Sora was done the MPI revealed the same score. "Our class has two monsters in it, and one of them fails to talk to a girl properly," Shido said shocked with most of the class agreeing.

"Hey, I can talk to a girl properly," Anax shouted, but sadly, no one agreed to his statement, until Alexander came up to Anax and grabbed his collar lifting him up from the ground and shouted.

"Listen to me you punk, I know you cheated, no one has ever seen or sense you use your magic at all. You're just a fraud, you used illusion magic or something like that." Alexander yelled and was about to punch Anax until someone shouted.

"Alexander your behaviour is not permitted in the class, detention after school." Miss Aisha shouted

"But he-" Alexander couldn't finish because Aisha gave a two-hour detention for not obeying and told him that Anax was using his magic and not illusion magic.

"Thanks for the save miss Aisha," Anax said thanking his teacher.

The bell rang signalling that the second period had ended and the third period had begun. Everyone left the class and went to the cafeteria.

"Anax, what the hell was that. I mean that was the first time anyone has ever seen you like that, even Ekato was surprised when he heard you got serious with magic." Shido said talking to Anax while heading to the cafeteria.

"Well, when I get serious it means that there's a challenge that seems fun, and the last time I got serious was when I first fought Sora." Anax said as he heard someone's stomach growling. "well if only your score was lower, you'd be buying me lunch."

Anax then looked to his side and saw Sora walking with them. "Well, this has been bugging me, but what's with the wig, you look like a porcupine." Anax then proceeded to take Sora's wig off revealing his black hair, then all of a sudden girls were running towards Sora causing the trio to run. "Never take off the wig Anax, never," Shido said emphasizing the last part.

After 5 minutes of running, Anax and Shido ditch Sora to get away from his fangirls so they can eat. "I feel bad for ditching Sora with them, but I guess it was my fault for taking his wig off, but never mind that let's eat," Anax said as he dug in. Everyone was in the cafeteria, eating food, while Anax's friends had been staring at Anax. When Anax finished eating, he said. "What, you look like you saw a demon," Anax questioned.

"Well, that's because you and prince Sora have a score of 957 on the MPI, care to explain that." A girl with short red hair said waiting for Anax to say something, along with everyone else.

Anax then sat still for a moment until he remembered and said. "dunno I just practice my magic on a boulder, Sera." Everyone was dumbfounded at Anax's short and blunt explanation.

Ekato had just arrived and sat down and said. " just leave, Anax won't reveal secrets like that because he wants to try and be popular so he can learn how to talk to a girl properly."

everyone then laughed as Anax blushed and yelled he could talk to a girl properly.

Then the bell rang telling everyone to go to their fourth-period class.
