Veer was standing there feeling numb.

"Sh.....shivay...."

"BANI." Veer got interrupted by Shivay. The name hitted his head. He felt his heart getting heavy. Lumb formed in his throat. He felt a pain in his throat, suppressing his cry. His eyes filled with tears.

"Veer..." Veer cleared his face as Anika came to them and held his hand smiling at him and he reciprocated it. Shivay also smiled at them with a smirk. She saw him smiling at them and rolled her eyes.

"C'mon Veer let's go and enjoy our engagement + sangeet ceremony." She said emphasizing our.

"Its-not-gonna-work." Veer sang to himself looking here and there.

"Huh?" Anika looked at him questioning. Shivay glared him.

"Abbb.... Come baby let's go and enjoy." Veer just dragged her from there and Shivay chuckled looking at them. Anika was all confused. She just followed Veer. He turned a little and Shivay mouthed baby giving him a glare with raised eyebrows. Veer rolled his eyes and Shivay chuckled.

"What you both were talking?" Anika asked to Veer as they sat on the poolside at that night. Veer opened his mouth to say something but got interrupted.

"Thats our matter Anika. Tomorrow is your mehendi. So you should go and sleep." Shivay came to them and sat beside Veer.

"Don't you think that you are taking too much interest in my marriage ceremonies on these days?" Anika narrowed her eyebrows.

"Well, i am and i will. Coz i am your wedding planner." Shivay shrugged his shoulders. Anika rolled her eyes.

"I have something to talk to you Veer. Let's go to your room. And Anika, please sleep in my room for today, princess is sleeping there. I'll sleep with OmRu." Shivay said in one go and stood up.

"Come on Veer." Veer stood up and looked at Anika. She nodded her head and stood up. Veer followed Shivay to his own room and Anika walked to Shivay's room.

"Veer, i know everything about you and Bani." Veer stood there silently, gazing at the floor. Shivay continued.

"I am not saying that you are wrong. But you should move on. Bani is....." Shivay hesitated to say further as he know that it gonna hurt Veer.

"I know Shivay, I know that i should move on. Its been 6 years to that incident. But i.... I can't.... I lost her infront of my eyes....." Veer said lifting his both hands and looking at it like a mad person. Shivay came to him and kept his hand on Veer's shoulder.

"I know Veer, there was none when you needed. You needed someone, whom you can trust and take out all your pain infront of. That time we were completely strangers. But now, as you took care of my Ani and my Princess, and you still does, i don't think that i need any specific relation to share with you. I know, i was jealous of you in the start. But i always admired the way you took care of them all. But more than that i felt a special connection with you, but i ignored it, i don't know what is it, but....it felt good." Shivay said smiling with teary eyed. Veer was too crying silently, looking into his eyes. Shivay wiped off Veer's tears and cupped his face with one hand.

"You are just like my OmRu and Khanna to me. Please trust me and take out all your pain, that you were holding into yourself and try to move on."

Suddenly Veer hugged Shivay tightly and started to cry loudly. Shivay patted his head and back, rubbing his back, time to time.

"That was our Wedding day Shivay......" Shivay just hummed still rubbing his back.

"She was looking like an angel, my angel." Veer smiled a little remembering Bani.

"We were getting married, in London the Church. We both had lost our family. She was raised in the orphanage and i was raised by my uncle. My parents died when i was born and her parents left her there as she was a girl and they wanted a boy. My uncle died when i was 16 and from that i was alone."

"Hmm..."

"Then i...." Veer smiled

"I met my Bani. My angel. I had came to the orphanage to give gifts to the kids as it was my uncle's 6th death anniversary. There i saw her. She was 20 then. I fell for her at the only second. Then i started to visit the orphanage regularly, just to see her. We built a very good bond. Our friendship turned into love.... Yes Shivay, she... She said those 3 magical words to me on her 23rd Birthday. That was my best return gift that i ever got."

"Hmm..."

Veer broke the hug and turned around.

"Then we decided that we will get married. We were so happy. She came to the church, with her orphanage friends. We got married in the church. Then i ride her to my house, holding eachother's hand, smiling from heart." Veer said lifting his right hand and caressing it with his left hand. Shivay was already in tears.

"I was just kissing her hand. But.... God didn't wanted me to show my love to her. He was so jealous of our love. Just one kiss and....." Shivay pressed his hand on Veer's shoulder.

"And....our car....got....hitted into a devider and she was thrown out of the car to the centre of the road. Even before i could do anything a....a truck came and....." Veer fell on his knees and cried loud. Shivay immediately sat infront of him and hugged him tightly, patting his head. Veer clutched Shivay tightly, shutting his eyes and crying vigorously.

Shivay closed his eyes and a lone tear escaped from his eyes. Veer cried for nearly for 1½ hours sitting on the same position, and Shivay let him do.

No one noticed them as the whole mansion fell into asleep but these two souls were awaken, one giving his shoulder and the other one pulling out the heaviness from his heart.

It was already 3 in the morning. Shivay noticed the time. Veer stopped crying half an hour before and had layed his head on Shivay's lap and slept crying, both were sitting on the floor. Shivay caressed his head remembering his brother. His lost brother..... Who was just 3 years younger to him. Elder to Rudy and younger to Om. If he was here, he would be as age of Veer.

"Rishi..." This name escaped from his mouth unknowingly. He closed his eyes and a tear ran down from his eyes through his cheeks and fell into Veer's face and he stirred in his sleep. He opened his eyes and saw Shivay sitting there with his closed eyes.

"Shivay....." Veer got up and sat beside him. Shivay opened his eyes and looked at him with a small smile.

"Get into the bed Veer." Both got up.

"Good night." Shivay was about to leave the room but Veer tugged his hand. Shivay looked at him.

"Please stay with me for today.... It feels good with you." Veer said with trembling lips, trying not to cry, but his tears bet rayed him. Shivay blinked his eyes with a small smile, giving his approval to Veer's request.

Shivay tucked the duvet on a sleeping Veer and laid beside him. He closed his eyes and fell into deep sleep.

"Bhaiya..... Catch me if you can..... Hahaha....." A little boy of 3 was running, looking back, laughing. And a boy of 6 was chasing him. At a distance, there stood a boys of 5 years holding a baby of 5 months, laughing.

"Look Rishi, I'll catch you." The 6 year boy screamed to the 3 year old.

"No one can catch the Rishi Singh Oberoi bhaiya...." He said laughing and suddenly his leg got hitted with a stone and he fell into the river beside.

"RISHIIIIII......... " Shivay got up from his sleep panting. Veer also got up hearing his scream.

"What happened Shivay....." He asked panicking. Shivay just looked at him and his eyes welled up.

"Kya hua?" He again asked, this time bringing Shivay back from his shocked state.

"Huh? K...kuch nahi...." He said and grabbed the water bottle kept beside him and drank it in a go.

"Are you okay?" Veer asked rubbing his back. Shivay nodded his head.

"I....i am okay. You sleep, good night." Shivay said calming himself. Veer helped Shivay to lay down and tucked the duvet on him and he himself laid beside him.

"Good night Shivay, soja." He said and after a small time both slept.
