The French Miraculous Team were killed by a nuclear bomb planted by revengeful Patrick. The Kwamis meet up with the turtle brothers and Sass revealed himself. That made the brothers realise that Sapphire has sent them the snake kwami to bring them back in time to stop the bombs, so the mutant apocalypse never happened.
