DESCRIPTION

marla mason and alex walter have known each other their whole lives. they've been best friends, and as they grew older they had started dating. as life went on, they realized that their relationship wasn't meant to last. but when life threw a lot of obstacles at them, things changed between them. they thought their feelings for each other had faded and it seemed like everything was keeping them apart. so they broke up, mutually, of course, and both tried to move on with their lives. they tried to keep being best friends, but it was hard and they drifted apart. even though they're exes and alex knows that this is probably a bad idea, going to her house to see her. but still he goes to see her late one night because two people can reconnect, so this isn't a bad idea, right? 

SUMMARY

marla mason and alex walter used to be best friends. they used to be inseparable. it was always them against the world. and then their relationship turned into more, and they had fallen in love with each other. they had a perfect life, or what seemed like it, until things fell apart, and their relationship turned out to be not so perfect. now, it's been years, and they're both older, and have grown a little wiser, and have learned a few lessons, but nothing can take away the love they feel for each other. will they finally find a way to make things work this time, and will they be able to find their way back to each other, or will all of this just be a bad idea? 

NOTES 

-not really a fan of the summary so you're more than welcome to change it to make it better but if you like it the way it is then that's fine <3

-marla & alex had gotten together before he & paige went together

-this plot follows along with the song bad idea, right? by olivia rodrigo

-marla is close with the whole walter family, she was practically an honorary family member

- i dont have names or faceclaims for her parents so you can decide that! & also decide what they do for work, but her family do have a ranch nearby the walters so be sure to include that too

-marla has a horse named daisy & she has won several ribbons in horse riding competitions, marla loved doing these competitions.

-you can decide why alex comes to her house late at night, i was planning on maybe he just couldn't take it anymore, the way they were avoiding each other & such since he had been missing her (& she didnt want to admit it at first but she was missing him) so he decides to go to her house because he needed her

-you can decide what her parents do for work. she's an only child. she has a close bond with her parents so dont forget to add that!

-pls include some flashbacks of marla & alex growing up, i think that'd be cute

-also would love it if you did some flashbacks of how they started dating & stuff.
