DESCRIPTION

she goes to west high and he goes to east high, but they're best friends and next door neighbors. things change for the best friends when they start to realize they have feelings for each other

SUMMARY

Layla Wilkins always loved music and it just made sense that she loved it since she came from a musical family. Her mom knew how to play the electric guitar and how to sing while her dad knew how to play the piano and sing as well. At a young age she learned how to play the electric guitar, she always thought being able to play the guitar was so cool which was one of the reasons why she wanted to learn.

Not only did she love music, she loved acting and musicals as well. She was always a theater kid at heart. She and her older sister often performed plays or did concerts with choreography they made for their family when they were younger. When Layla got into middle school she joined the drama club and stayed in the drama club when she got into high school.

While most drama club students weren't into sports or cheerleading, Layla was into cheerleading. She was a cheerleader for the West High Knights. And here's the thing, where she goes to school plays an important part in her life because her best friend and next door neighbor goes to the rival school East High. Layla Wilkins and Troy Bolton have been best friends since they met in preschool.

Despite going to different schools, Layla and Troy have a close bond and always find ways to hang out together. Plus it helps that they live right next to each other. It was obvious to everyone how much they care for each other and how close of friends they are. People who saw them together and didn't know them thought they were dating, but the sad thing is they're just best friends. Things change for Layla and Troy when Layla gets transferred to East High and romantic feelings begin to appear.

-grant gustin plays layla's & kc's friend & kc's love interest chandler hayes 

-you can decide when she transfers to east high ! it can be in the first movie, if you have her transfer in the first movie just dont do it right away

-kc & chandler both go to north high 

-you can decide the reason why layla has to transfer to east high, i was thinking maybe she got bullied so badly she had to transfer & if you go with that then you can decide what she got bullied for!

-layla is a cheerleader & a theater kid ! she's a popular girl, but she's one of the nice popular girls. she's not very girly girl either, but she's not exactly a tomboy, she's somewhere in between 

-layla has a close bond with her family
