MAIN TROPE: exes to lovers. best friends to lovers. 

DESCRIPTION: marlee dunbar and stiles stilinski dated, but break up after a fight they have. they decide to just be friends until the ghost riders arrive in beacon hills and that's when they realize their love for each other never faded. it only grew.

SUMMARY:

Marlee Dunbar was only a baby when her biological parents decided they didn't want her. Marlee came from a long line of mutants. She was born with powers. The powers she was born with are solar light manipulation, accelerated healing, super strength, super speed, and force fields. Her parents were afraid of her because no one in their family had four different types of powers. They only either had one power or two powers.

The only thing she has from her parents is a bracelet and a note. On the note it said who Marlee is, how they just couldn't raise her, and that the bracelet was magic and helped her keep control of her powers until she learned how to do it herself. The note also explained about her powers and how it said that if she didn't have her bracelet on and didn't know how to keep control yet then it would be easier for her to lose control.

Marlee was left on someone's doorstep. Her biological parents hoped that whoever these people are could love her for who she is the way they never could. The Dunbar's were trying to have a baby and so far they were losing hope. Then one night their doorbell rang and were quite surprised when they opened the door to only find Marlee swaddled in a baby car seat with a note and a bracelet.

Marlee was beyond grateful for the Dunbar's for adopting her. They treat her like she was their own flesh and blood. Even though she has powers and they didn't know much about it, they did their best to help her control them and learn more about them. When Liam came along, Marlee was so happy. She always wanted a sibling and now she has a little brother who she has a close bond with. The blonde haired girl has a few number of close friends who are also different like her. She even dated one of them who went by the name Stiles.

Marlee and Stiles had a good and healthy relationship which all changed when Stiles thought he should check himself into Eichen House when he was possessed by the Nogistune. Their fight turned into Marlee yelling at Stiles, 'Then maybe we should break up'. When she realized she said those words, she immediately regretted it because she didn't want to break up with him. Before she could apologize and she just said that because it was in the heat of the moment thing, Stiles had already walked to the door and slammed it loudly after he left. It was rough not being in a relationship with Stiles. Especially when he got in a relationship with Malia.

Marlee and Stiles decided to just be friends even though it took them awhile to go back to acting like friends. Now they act like how they did before they were dating when they were just best friends. When the Ghost Riders arrive in Beacon Hills, Marlee and Stiles realized that their love for each other never faded. It only grew. They just hid their feelings from themselves because they thought it would be better for them to not be together, but they soon realize that they're both better together and still into each other.

NOTES

-this is also a male!oc x lydia martin fic! the male oc is nico crawford & a best friend of marlee & in the mccall pack & nico & marlee have a brother-sister type of bond.

-nico's family are hunters who hunt the supernatural, but he refused to be a hunter & got kicked out of the house when he was 17. he lives with his aunt & uncle (you can name his aunt & uncle & give them faceclaims)

-yes marlee's powers are similar to karolina dean's powers!!

-i planned on starting in season 4, going to season 6, you can change that if you want, but i already have four chapters written so lmk if you want to see them to see if you want to use them, just of course be sure to give me credit!
