the title will make sense, I swear

We began making our way down the hill, so I started some small talk..

"So, who are you guy's godly parents?" I asked.

"Hades." Nico said.

"Apollo." Will said.

"Aren't you guys, like, total opposites?" I asked.

Nico rolled his eyes, and Will nodded.

"It's called polar opposites, and it is the cutest thing ever." Aliyah said to me.

"That's weird." I said.

"It is not! Do you ever ship people in books or movies, then become so obsessed with them you write fanfiction about their adorableness??" Aliyah asked them.

Will, Nico and I gave her a weird look.

"Just me? Okay," Aliyah grumbled.

I cleared my throat, "Um, ANYWAY, how do we know who our godly parents are?" I asked.

"They'll claim you. Sometimes it'll take a while, and sometimes it won't it depends." Nico explained.

"I'm 99.9% sure my dad is Hades, but you never know." Aliyah said.

"I hope not." Nico muttered.

"Excuse me? Rude." Aliyah huffed.

"What? I like having my own cabin." Nico explained.

"And I like him having his own cabin too." Will said grinning.

"Okay ew. No one needed to know that." I grumbled.

"GAYS!" we heard someone yell.

We turned around and a gorgeous girl came running to us. She had brown skin, dark brown hair, and eyes that seemed to be every color at once.

"A goddess just appeared!" she exclaimed.

"What???" Will cried.

"Huh? Oh hi, I'm Piper.. Oh wait I know you." Piper said looking at me.

"Hm. You look familiar.." I said, squinting at Piper.

"I'm Tristan Mclean daughter." she said. "Ohh, I met you at Ariana Grande's party!" I said.

"Ya, and we tricked the waiters into thinking we're older to get champagne!" Piper said grinning.

I laughed, "Ah, ya I remember, that was fun."

Piper and I hung out all night, fan girling every once and awhile when one of our idols came it. It had been so fun. Nico rolled his eyes.

"You guys done with the famous people talk? Because I was just informed a goddess appeared..." Nico said.

"Oh yeah. Come on guys, she's at the big house." Piper said.

We raced down to whatever the big house was, and on the porch of it stood a fat man sipping coke, the ultimate VSCO girl, and a horse man that I assumed was Chiron. The VSCO girl looked extremely pissed off, and was talking to Chiron. When she heard us coming up the steps, she turned and gave me a dazzling smile

"Thea girl, congrats on 370! I meant to come congratulate you on the day, but I had plans." VSCO checked her nails.

"Uh thanks, who are you?" I asked her.

Anger flashed across the VSCO's face. "Who am I?? Haven't you learned about the gods?" she snarled.

I raised a brow and crossed my arms, "Uh, ya, the important ones." I said smirking. VSCO's jaw fell open, and everyone gasped. VSCO glared at me, but I held my gaze, "How DARE YOU! You wouldn't be famous if it weren't for me!!" VSCO shrieked. "Oh yeah? And who are you?" I asked. "I am Amarantha, goddess of Stereotypes!!!" she yelled at me. "Ah, that explains all the VSCO. Hon, I think your Target perfume is stinking up the place." I said sweetly. Amarantha glared at me. "Honey, I don't think you understand. I am a goddess. You are a mortal. I am powerful! I am a daughter of Zeus and Hera!" she cried. "I don't think you understand. I. Don't. Care." I said slowly. I felt like I was fucking up my whole life right know, but I doubt my life could get any worse than this. Amarantha looked at me in a way that made my stomach churn. When she studied me, I felt like she was gazing into my soul. "Oh sweet little Thea. You might be "the worlds hottest woman" but you aren't a woman, are you? You're thirteen. You want to be like everyone else, but you can't can you. You've been cursed with a pretty face and a little waist." Amarantha smiled at me sympathetically. "Shut up." I demanded. "Oh honey, I'm only speaking the truth." Amarantha said. I wanted to slap her. Tell her she's a liar, that I love my life, that she didn't know what she was talking about. But then I would be a liar. I looked at her, into her piercing blue eyes. She was a girl I had just met, yet I felt like she had been tormenting me for centuries, and I'm only 13. That's when I realized, I had just lost. I had lost a verbal battle. For the first time in my life. I laughed, surprising, pretty much everyone. "You win Amarantha. Now, Nico told me gods don't visit very often. Why are you here?" I asked. Amarantha sighed. "Well, I don't want to go through the gory details, but basically I have to stay here for the entire summer a camper. I'll stay in the Hera cabin." Amarantha said. Chiron stepped forward, "Thea, Aliyah, and Amarantha. Welcome to Camp Half-Blood. We have your T-shirts. Harley?" Chiron said. A little boy ran forward with 3 T-shirts. They were baggy and were an ugly bright orange. "Here. Amarantha, you said you'll go in the Hera cabin, Aliyah and Thea, you'll be staying in the Hermes cabin for the time being." Chiron said. He handed us our T-shirts. I put mine on over my tank top, the pulled the tank top off from under it. Then the shirt began to morph. All my clothes do that, to fit my body and look sexier. It became super tight, showing off my curves. It gave itself a low V-neck cut, giving me a lot more cleavage then I had before. Thea's eyebrows shot up so far, I thought they were going to get lost in her hairline. Her chocolatey brown skin became tinted red on her cheeks. My oh my. Is miss dark mysterious and gloomy blushing. "Whoa." Piper said. She pointed above my head, and I looked up and saw.. I'm not really sure what it was, but Piper exclaimed, "the symbol of Aphrodite!" Every except Chiron (obviously) and Amarantha dropped to their knees (does the title make sense now). "Hail Thea Campbell, daughter of the love goddess."
