On the Other side of the Mondstadt Apex Soldiers are plotting to kill Kong, so they set their trap and activate the seismic charges & explode.

Apex Soldier: That should give him attention.

Then Kong came to investigate and saw Apex as he glared at them before chest-pounding and roaring, then he charged at them but the Apex Commander throws the torch lighting up. It seems to kill him but somehow he survives killing the Apex Soldiers before he fell to the ground.

Apex Commander: Men, place the charges it's time to show Kong that man is king.

Then they placed the charges as Commander activates the detonator as he is about press it.

Ei: Hold it right there!

Then Ei and her friends arrived as they prepared their weapons. They must have seen them trying to kill Kong.

Aether: Stand down.

Then there was a bubbling sound from water. Next thing it exploded then out of nowhere, it was Ramarak the Skull Devil.

Hanzo: Ramarak.
Ei: Fall back.
Paimon: Run!

Then they run back to the rally point as the Commander activated the detonator then Kong regains his consciousness and smashes him. Miko watched as Kong battles Ramarak, Aether took Miko's hand and ran back to the others, then as they were running Ramarak is in pursuit but Kong intervenes with him as they resume their fight.

Miko: I'll go up and use my magic as a flare.
Aether: Okay, but be careful.

Then Miko went climbing up to the cliff while Aether distracts it with Lumine and Kong battled Ramarak. When Kong accidentally throws the Skull Devil against the cliff where Miko is standing, causing her to fall into the water. Aether and his friends watched in horror that their friend is in peril.

Aether: Miko!

Kong watched her fall but comes to his sense to fight Ramarak he kills Ramarak with a propeller, Kong rescues Miko who is now unconscious but Ramarak springs back and attacks. Ramarak wraps its tongue around Kong's arm but not on Kong's watch, he violently pulled Ramarak's Tongue, finally, Ramarak is now defeated, for good, and avenging the deaths of his parents as well as his species. Kong gently put Miko down as Aether ran to her and revives her. Miko coughs out of the water.

Aether: Miko, are you okay?
Miko: Yeah thank you.

Then they put their foreheads closer before looking at Kong. Kong looked at them before wandering off. Ei and her friends ran to her as the helicopter arrives as they rescued her and return to their outpost. Kong beats his chest and loudly roars, proclaiming himself the King.

Somewhere in the Ocean

Godzilla overhears the Roar and proceeds to Mondstadt as he's ready for a rematch.
