The personification of the world's nations have wings, those wings make them stronger, but there's also one great enemy to these winged immortals... the ground. Or, more specifically, hitting the ground.

- Germany slipped and fell right out of the tree, nearly 30 feet. Italy tried to grab onto his arm, but was far too late in his reaction time.

Germany was also too late to try and open his wings all the way, due to the shock factor of the fall, so he instead just tucked in his wings so they didn't get injured when he landed.

Italy, after attempting to grasp Germany's arm, watched his back as he started falling to the earth, and the reaction to dive after him kicked in. Italy flew downward after Germany almost in time with his fall so they could quickly assess the damage.

Germany hit the ground with a loud thump and shock running through him still. He landed on his stomach side, which was at least not the side with the largest amount of breakable bones. But, to his demise, landed on his right leg which took the most damage.

"Germany! Germany, oh no, are you okay?" Italy worried, while crouched next to his wind-whipped companion. As the smaller of the pair thought the worst of the situation, which was to not be able to fly back to Germany's house so he could rest, he still hoped the opposite of their situation. Countries might have wings, but their healing time is lacking due to having such emormous apendages along their backs.

Germany grunted, or at least tried to. He attempted to roll over onto his back even if it was uncomfortable, Italy gently helped him and gently asked, "Are you going to be able to fly?" This question was more so to himself than to his injured friend, since the latter has his eyes screwn shut in what seemed to be pain.

The larger of the two got himself propped up on his elbows, and tried to adjust his legs to see how broken they were. Not to his surprise his right leg was not in great shape. The scratches from his fall weren't as much of a bother, but whatever ache he felt all throughout his leg was.

"No, I don't think so... at least not today." Germany silently spoke.

Italy breathed a light and worried sigh, "Then... how will we ever get back?"
