I saw her today laughing at some coffee shop next to the park. She was happy, I guess, and she looked pretty in her gray dress. She didn't see me enter, nor did she see me settle on the chair opposite from hers. Maybe because she didn't recognize me.

Hannah said I looked different one week ago, so I look even more different now.

Our eyes didn't meet, and I almost slapped the man she was sitting with when she cracked up at a joke he said.

But if she's happy, I'm happy.

No.

I'm not happy.

I stood up and exited the doors, not glancing at her as a good-bye. I climbed inside my car and drove my way to home. If she's happy, let her be, I thought. Let her be happy and then maybe I can be happy too.

When I arrived, I didn't see the familiar white walls and black-wooden doors of our...my house, instead, I saw the the beige walls of a house that I visited too much.

With a knock on the large brown door, Hannah appears in a pink robe and messy hair.

"Hunt-"

I pushed open the door and she stepped back for my sudden outburst.

"Make me happy, Hannah."
